  1. Hello there, In all my time with the pineapple mk4 I have always wondered what exactly is the WAN port for? I have looked all over but nothing. Just wondering what its purpose is.
  2. Have you tried connecting your modem to your pineapple over ethernet yet? If so what where the results? Where you able to get to the internet from a connected station? I am also wondering the same things as you.
  3. If phishing is your thing, I suggest going over to the configuration tab in the web interface, and go under the landing page box and type in plain english, what ever you want. Then head up to the dns spoof config and change what it says in there to "172.16.42.1 *.com" this will redirect all requested websites to your pineapples web server witch hosts your dns spoof page. Head back to the status tab and click enable next to dns spoof. Connect to your pineapple with any device and try to go to any web site, sit back and enjoy. You can build so much on this, as that is what i did when i discovered it. Another thing you can do is head over to the pineapple bar and download the jammer infusion. It allows you to turn your pineapple into a wifi jammer by deauthing. While it is verry basic, it will probably scare your boss. Good luck mate.
  4. Noob question: Why would you want it not to respond to pings? How many clients are going to ping it?
  5. The RPi is absolutely worth the $40 that it is.
  6. This is my setup outside of their cases. We have 2 pienapple MK IV's, a raspberry pi, an alfa awus036nha, a USB rubbery ducky, and my laptop. All powered by 3 pienapple juice battery packs.
  7. It is nice to hear that improvements are being made. Gotta love the Hak5 team. Any idea of a general 3.0 release date, just wondering because my second pineapple arrives monday.
  8. Hopefully, the current one on mobile screens looks terrible with the overlap of the side pannels.
  9. Any time, its what I am here for.
  10. I take it the every 10 minute email is a cron job, might i ask how you pulled that off? Did you use the user.sh?
  11. It says on your tracking page that it will be delievered by the end of the day today, if you dont get it then I would call UPS and see what the deal is.
  12. Is there any way to narrow the output to just the URL, I am no noob to the pineapple but quite the noob to the URLsnarf infusion its a pain having to look through 10 lines just to find the URL. One other thing, when i am ssh into the pineapple and cat urlsnarf.log, i get nothing. Even if urlsnarf is up and running and my client is surfing the internet.
  13. The thing on the white board with the wheel?
  14. Foxtrot, unless he had a second wifi radio, would he be able to deauth while still allowing connections through karma? It would make sense that he ran say urlsnarf and deauth on pineapple 1 and karma and dnsspoof on pineapple 2. Heres a video by Darren Kitchen about tango mode. http://hak5.org/videolog/wifi-pineapple-tango-mode-proof-of-concept-demo funny i came accross this, i recently (5 days ago) ordered another pineapple to start playing around with tango mode.
  15. I use a my pi with my pineapple and a usb rubber ducky. The pi and pineapple are connected via ethernet, and my ducky logs me into my pi, then ssh to my pineapple and starts up dnsspoof.sh. All without any physical input from me, just boot it all up, plug the ducky in and let it go. I made this set up because i was tired of being in a target ritch enviorment and haveing to whip out my phone and go to the web UI of the pineapple and click the dnsspoof start button, with it all in a pelican case I can just sit back and let it go. ****EDIT**** I just realized, look at my picture.
  16. I have the same problem, when ever i cat the urlsnarf.log i get nothing.
  17. They just emailed me back confirming a bad shipment, and said i will recieve a discount code for 2 free ones. Thank you Hak5!!!
  18. Do you have any older or younger brothers? Always works for me.
  19. Some more information would be useful, i take it you in your pineapple's web UI?
  20. I still havent heard anything from the hakshop since there reply saying that they will "look into it today" for me. If i have to return the antennas, how will that work? I am wondering because i have never had to return anything to anyone ever in all my years of ordering online.
  21. Thank you for helping me out, I emailed the Hakshop and am awaiting responce. I think my entire last order was bad luck, i had to reorder everything after it failed the first time and they told me to. None of this has ever happened in my many many recent Hakshop orders. Some days you just cant win. **UPDATE** They emailed me back and said that they will look into it today. They where probably just 2 duds and hopefuly i can get new ones.
  22. Did you have to use an adaptor to plug the antennas into anything, say a pineapple or the base that came with them? Because i just got two and they wont go into anything i try to plug them into. The end on the antennas dosent have threads.
  23. I recently received my two 9dBi dipole antennas from the hakshop. In the hakshop it says the end on the antenna is RP-SMA (female), but i can not get them to screw into my pineapple or alfa awus036nha witch are RP-SMA male, the antennas wont even screw into the magnetic base that came with them. The female end of the antennas looks like it is RP-SMA but there are no threads on it. Any help would be appreciated.
  24. Thanks for helping me out friend, and as to your question about reconnecting clients, i have noticed in all my pineapple use (jammer running or not) that for me karma has to hear a probe request a few times in a row before answering. And one other thing is proximity, if the clients are have a better signal to the legit ap, then chances are they may connect to that instead of you. Its kinda a game of chance.
