  1. Please, guys, any advice is helpful. I need it badly, mostly for deauth-ing clients from an AP so I could get them connected to Jasager's antenna. Without Alpha put in monitor it is not possible. ---- In fact, with 2.7.7 Pineapple can't work with Alpha at all. iwconfig shows that wlan1 has txpower of 0dbi and putting the interface up with ifconfig up doesn't change anything.
  2. I tried that as well... Doesn't help either. You see (it's 2.7.7):
  3. Still no luck: monitor mode on Alpha connected to Pineapple launches and then crashes instantly.
  4. Alpha works perfectly on computer in any mode. It even works on Pineapple now, however as I said only about 5 seconds in monitor mode: then it returns an error message that monitor interface does not exist. As about Karma, ok I got that. However, should it not return SSIDs in network list, just like airbase-ng -P would? I mean, previously connected networks' SSIDs in response to devices probes?
  5. Oh, thank you very much for your response. I'm reading the forum now in order to figure out what is wrong. It seems like everything is wrong. It is either Wi-Fi Pineapple is promoted much better than it works in real life or I've got a broken one. External card does not work. Well, I managed to get it work in monitor mode for say 5 seconds before it shows an error message 'mon0 doesn't exist'. I've got no idea what this is but that is not all. As far as I understand, Karma shoud AUTOCONNECT those devices that send probe requests in the air. Probes are seen, however the only case it actually does connect with any devices is when I manually enter a network name on that particular device. You see what I mean? Say, even if I ran airbase-ng I would be at least able to fake the list of previously connected networks on other devices, though, it doesn't auto connect, too. So, just to conclude, should I claim a replacement now?
  6. I'm running on 2.8.0, that is what surprises me the most! I mean, if there are any driver issues, they should have definitely been fixed by now. I did try using Network Manager infusion but it doesn't really help either. Oh yes, I also tried re-installing rtl8187 via OPKG infusion and nothing changed. I might try installing different drivers for it, it's just that I don't know whether I can really do that with Pineapple firmware... Does your Karma work ok, though or is it a common issue with it that it doesn't work on AT LEAST iPhones?
  7. Hello guys, It has probably been discussed before; however I have spent the whole day trying to figure it out. I've got a Mark IV which works fine (except for Karma which is sadly not what it used to be before). The thing is I've been trying to connect the external USB Alpha AWUS036H to Pineapple AND put it into monitor mode. Mark IV clearly recognizes the card; however when I try to put it into the monitor mode I get this (re-flashing doesn't help, network manager was tried): What is wrong? Everything was tried, to my opinion the problem is rtl8187 drivers. If not, I have no idea. If there was any topic with similar problem, could you please direct me? :/ Thanks........
