So I'm not entirely sure this is possible, but my basic idea is as follows:
Harmony remotes have the ability to program button press sequences to allow for one click movie viewing, etc. Since all of my home theatre hardware has iPhone applications, I had the idea of sniffing button presses from the iOS application, stringing together proper sequences, and replaying them to get a similar effect.
Sniffing button presses was easy enough, so that's done, but replaying them is proving to be more complicated. Using tcpreplay, replaying pcap files does...nothing. I assume it's either an IP/MAC address problem or an authentication problem, but I am at a loss of what to try/do next.
Any ideas, suggestions, etc.?
