  1. I hack for freedom for everyone, I have a code of ethics that I never steal and I respect peoples privacy. But if you are evil and want to do destruction look out. I do not care which side you say you are on. I work hard to make sure the truth comes out. Even if I have to sit in a man-hole and tap in to reveal it. Our freedom is sacred a lot of people died to give it to us and too many are willing to give it away, and too many are willing to take it away.

Your partner Mr. Protocol was even too scared to let me speak freely, so he shut down and locked me out of adding to the other forum topic to hide the truth about Hak5 and its lack of response, and I am a Dick? Enough Negative! now lets look to the positive from here on.

  6. Dear Shannon, Yes! I checked all areas and both E-mails both Earthlink and Hotmail that I used to send out. I thought that my first Emails from Earthlink might have been blocked by the system it happened to me once before someone blocked all Earthlink emails so mine had not gotten through. So I checked everything and I could not find any emails that came to me from Sara or Hak5. Thank you so much for helping me with this situation. I do not trust UPS and I will tell you why. My son bought a Large screen TV and UPS said it was delivered but it was not, then after they started checking the driver had told then that he had left it with the people across the street and would retrieve it and get it to me. I caught the UPS truck coming down the street and stopping in front of the peoples house across the street so I ran right up to the truck and found out it was not with my neighbor across the street it had never left his truck. He went in back of his truck and got it for me. If I had not been fast in going after the missing TV, he I am sure was going to keep it for himself. Your emails seem to be reaching me fine. Yes I did just receive an email with a new tracking number that just came in around the time yours did.   7. Mr. Protocol If that is true then prove it because I received none period. "Hak5 goes above and beyond for customer service" That is Bullshit because I would not be posting here if that was even the slightest bit true. So you cut me off that helps a lot.

  8. I will hold off on the call and see if Shannon helps. You see I am fair about things. You sound like you are blowing a bolt. Just calm down and help get this problem resolved that's all I want. I am not hard to do business with. Maybe because I hack I learned to never give up.
  9. There is nothing irrational about covering your "a" when you have hundreds of dollars invested in a product and you follow protocol,l and get "0" response. Maybe you like throwing money away, I do not like to be hacked. I just received an email from Shannon ( Hi John, I just wanted to let you know that emailing Paul, Jenn, Darren, Mubix, and myself doesn't really help with shop concerns. Mubix is not employed by hak5, Paul and Jenn are no longer with the company. Darren and I work on the podcast (so if we receive and email from the shop, we just forward it to the same inbox, which slows down answering times since it adds to the queue.). We have all been working on a class called Pentest With Hak5 since early last week, so you may see a delay from the shop. Thanks! Shannon ) But not any from the Hak5 shop. I responded to her e-mail ( Dear Shannon; Thank you! You are the first person from Hak5 to show concern for my dilemma. I know you have a small shop I looked at it on Google maps. I have several hundred dollars invested in this order and would like help. Since even though I notified UPS myself it is the sender who UPS says is the one who is responsible to work with them in getting this resolved. I this is because it is the insurance company that will pay Hak5 not me. I have to get resolution through Hak5 and if they don’t respond in a timely manner it becomes worrisome. Can you help in getting this resolved? Thanks ) I hope she will get someone motivated from Hak5 to officially email me back and let me know what they are doing and what I should expect, what ever way things go. I am not crazy but I am responsible and expect others to be also. Who are you? If you work for Hak5 then get someone there motivated that's all I am asking for. That's not asking a lot either.
  10. Yea I have my first real home phone number to some one at Hak5 I will call it and see if I can get any care from Hak5 tomorrow.(I will not put the number here because I respect and want to protect their privacy) If it was a business number I would post it right away.
  11. HAK5 policy If, for any reason, you never received your package, we can help you sort this out.(This is all I am asking for) Bring it to our attention. (I have been trying to do that)We leave tracking your order up to you after we have sent it out. Email us regarding your inquiry and attach your original receipt with Order Number. (I have done this to every email address you have on your website)
  12. I am a man of action! Like a dog with a bone I will not let go until I feel that a fair resolution has been reached.
  13. All I want is for HAK-5 to be involved a little. To let me know one of three things First that they will replace the items that were lost, or Second that they are working with UPS to get my shipment to me, or Third that they will credit my credit card. Is that too much to ask? So again I say they are not doing their due diligence at all. I own a company and I make sure all my customers are happy. And if one has a problem I go out of my way or have one of my employees do what ever it takes to resolve the issue in a fair and responsible manner.

My Camera's only show that they never stopped here at all They do not see beyond the range of a few hundred feet from my house so all they saw was the truck passing and not stopping at all and that was at 1:48 and not 1:45. The recording shows no stopping of a truck at my house. Yes, I may have started the ball rolling, but that is not what UPS wants. You can see the exact information from UPS's website above they put all the responsibility in the lap of the sender. But I do not want to be cheated and do not want HAK5 to be cheated so I did my Due Diligence despite the poor response from HAK5. I just looked and still do not see any response to any of my e-mails from HAK5 directly in my E-mail box.
  15. I did call UPS right away and copied the recording of the truck passing at 1:48 and not stopping and also that no one was at my house at 1:45. UPS says that I should call the sender and I posted what they say on their website. They say it is the senders responsibility not the receiver to make the complaint "read above". I talked with UPS and started the ball rolling but they said I have to contact the sender to officially make the report. That is what I tried to do by every means possible even texting their text only phone number and all their emails to no avail. I got no response at all. Of course I tried at first the way Hak5 said to do it, but after no response I used every channel I could to contact them. I will get a real persons phone number in time. What a pain that they never respond when I am doing what the UPS company asks me to do. I am following procedure, Hak5 is not or does not care about their customers to respond. I will get my money back through the credit card company but that's not what I wanted, I just wanted the shipment and a little care from Hak5. Is that too much to ask?
  16. Thanks you are 100% right. I will advertise at my own expense to get out what happened here and to let everyone know how HAK5 respects its customers if they do not contact me back.
  17. Here is your answer from UPS itself If you are the receiver: All updates regarding the investigation for your package are disclosed to the shipper of the package. You will need to stay in contact with the shipper for this information. We are unable to provide any updates or the final results of the investigation to the receiver. If you are the Shipper: We are currently researching the status of your shipment within our operations on a daily basis. The investigation can take up to eight business days to complete. Should we locate your package or have an update prior to this timeframe, we will notify you immediately. Please allow some time for the resolution.
  18. According to UPS HAK5 is the person shipping and is suppose to be the one that needs to make the official complaint. I did make my report to them That the package was never delivered to me at that time or any other time. I record by camera everything that comes near my home with 12 cameras so if any delivery was made I would know it. No delivery was ever made to my home that day period and I have the surveillance recordings to prove it. UPS had said that it was delivered at 1:45 on 09/15/2016 that never happened. Now UPS says it was delivered to the wrong address. If Hak5 will not do what is their do diligence then the next thing is for me to contact my credit card company to get my money back we are talking about hundreds of dollars here. I do not see Hak5 responding to this post nor any of my e-mails. I have bought from then several times before is this the way they treat their loyal customers? I hope they respond soon I am getting tired of being treated as a non entity. If I am ignored and my hand is forced it will cost them. A very sad customer.

To: anyone who even cares about your customers, I have not heard anything back from you, this is a bad way to do business, You leave no number at all for people to call for help and do not answer their emails in a timely manner. Dear Sir, They said they delivered my package with tracking number 1Z0W40E71295272006 at 1:45 but no truck stopped here at all. I know this because I have full surveillance by camera and record everything. A truck did pass at 1:48 but never stopped at all. My order number is: #80392

I fixed my issues, I found out that it was running out of space in root when I ssh'ed over to it I just moved all the real files from /usr/bin to /sd/usr/bin and made pointer files for each one I moved and put them in the original files place in /usr/bin. this saved me a lot of room so I could now run more programs and not have to worry as much. I will move the /usr/sbin files over too. its a lot of work that would not have to be done if they just gave more room to begin with. only needed to use only two commands cp -a and ln -s. everything is working great now. :-), I now can put the two pineapples to work. (I know why they called them pineapples now Ha Ha and a lot of Lulz)
  21. PortaI Auth is installed it and it works fine. I do not think it is any one infusion I just think the pineapple just can't handle the load even when you have loaded everything to the SD. It may be a memory problem or just a slow processor.
  22. I think it is just that the pineapple can not handle the load it just slows down after to many infusions even if I am not using them. I just received a new pineapple and it does the same thing. do you know anyone who got all the infusions installed and is not having the same trouble? Do they not know that this is happening? Also on a side note the new pineapple they sent me did not work when booted it came up and had me set my password and then it came to the start page and all I had was blank squares. I could not click on anything execpt the logoff gui. I had to reinstall the operating system myself to get it to work so I would be able to bring it up to the latest version.
  23. I powered it by both the power supply and usb to power input. It does not do it now, because I have not put all the software back on it I am just not sure which infusion was doing it or if it was that it can not handle having all the infusions installed. I am just putting the ones I need on for now and just adding as I need.
  24. I have tried to install all the infusions and every time I do I end up with a constant reboot problem with the mark V. I do not know if it is the Mark V that can not handle having all the infusions loaded or if it is one of the infusions causing the problem. The first time this happened I ended up bricking the unit. I unbricked it and reloaded all the software infusions and the same problem happened. I have been loading all the infusions on a 8GB SD chip. now I have reloaded the software a third time but have not loaded every infusions only the ones I needed and it seems to be stable for now but what is going on is anyone having this trouble. Another problem is the Strip-N-Inject seems not to load correctly and after I have installed the infusion it still says to install in the infusion box. so I hit the install to sd and it insalls but when I close the window the box still says not installed, so I enter the box(window) again and the infusion seems installed but the lower window is too high and covers some of the upper window where the commands are. I close the infusion window again and it still says that the infusion is not installed in the little infusion starting window. I removed it for now but does anyone know anything about these two issues? Thanks KingHackR
