  1. I am now on the Mark V (Previously a Mark IV owner as well), I survived the upgrade, and had the perfect opportunity to monitor traffic with Karma. My Son had a sleep over with friends, all using my WiFi.

I have multiple requests for SSID Informaiton but none of the Devices associate with Karma, therefore the are no Clients listed. Why? Is it something that I am doing wrong? Did something changed?

  2. Well, ain't that a kick in the head?

I experienced this too, briefly. and logged out logged back in refreshed two times and it now loads, but I'm using Firefox. Other browsers were buggy for me, as well.

So, the $64.00 question would appear to be, why does Chrome work, and Iceweasel (aka, Firefox on Kali Linux) not work?

I agree the Update was smooth, but breaking firefox was not in my plans.

BTW, Chrome is working. Can I get back my Firefox Browser?

  3. OK, Finally was able to upgrade to 1.0.4, this was all done with the Manual method (my dashboard did not display the update as described).

The Manual method for updating is here: https://wifipineapple.com/?flashing

The Upgrade binary must first be downloaded from here: https://wifipineapple.com/index.php?downloads&download_mk5_upgrade=1.0.4

(other options are available here: https://wifipineapple.com/?downloads)

Please practice safety first, and follow the recommendations for using the md5sum command to validate that the binary is legitimate.

    Trust, but verify!

  4. OK, I used the Recovery Web Interface mode dip switches, and I think that I reset something, (or did I?). In any event, putting the switches back in place, I can now log into the Pineapple again.

I just need to upgrade to 1.04 now.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  5. I have a Mark V pineapple, which I configured last night and was running well. After a period of time, I attempted to log back into Windows, and the VM that was running the connection to the Pineapple crashed (I cannot understand why, yet).

This morning I restarted the VM, and can see the Pineapple, but I cannot login in to the Pineapple.

This is running version 1.0 of the software, and currently there was no listing for updating the 'BIOS' to a newer version.

I think that what I need to do is to:

    1. Get control of the Pineapple (how do I reset the password, or get back in?)

    2. Upgrade to version 1.04? Is there a how to link?

    Thank you in advance.
