Hello. I have a symbol barcode scanner here that I got from work, the MC50. It runs Windows Mobile 2003se. Id love to start writing some apps for it. I have looked about but i havent found much information on it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Such as what languags you can use and what can you use to write them? I'm most comfortable coding in c++ if that helps and a little vb :oops: I would like to be able to connect to an odbc database and query it, displaying the results on the screen. I dont need the touch screen to work until I get the hang of it. At the moment I can use the web browser on the PPC to connect to my wamp server (over wifi)to do the query but there must be a better, and more interesting way to do it. Thanks!

no its not a usb pen, its one of them (PCMCIA) 3G wireless data cards. It installs as a few virtual com ports, a modem, and a wifi card. Windows doesnt like just pulling it out. even if your not using it. If you were running the software, and the ports were open, fair enough. But its just sitting there, doing nothing except draining the battery!

Hey, does anyone know any command line ways to eject stuff in windows xp pro so i dont have to click on that dam green arrow? Keith.
