Bluetooth SIG just announced 4.2. I'm specially concerned about - Section 5 which describes the Secure Connections Feature. Apparently this section describes how the MAC address will not be encrypted. I've been using my Ubertooth One to help develop BLE Beacons and the BLE feature in the latest Ubertooth firmware has been a life saver. I'm wondering if anyone might know what if any affect this will have on the Ubertooth One? This may be something for a Hak5 show? Just a suggestion!

was there any resolution to this issue? I'm experiencing the same problem with my MKIV. I did ssh into the device and tail'd the log file which was empty. thanks
