Great script! It worked like a charm! I'm planning to hook it to the WPS button so I'll boot the pineapple plug the dongle and start the connection when I want with a click on a button.

Same issue here, version 2.7.7. It seems to grab it just when it's already plugged at boot time. Another strange thing I've noticed is that once I've committed my changed using the network module, the two if changed again becoming wlan1 and wlan2 (alfa) respectively. It's not a big deal however since the workaround is trivial.
