Thanks that will do it. I believe the normal USB cable, only allow 500 mA normally. In my case, the Anker 3 10000mha output 2A and I should juice the hub with 2A to ensure there is no underpowered issues. Does anyone knows if this could limit the juice to 500mA?

Already did it, and the partition for swap does not appear like, so it look ok. Will try to follow this vídeo from one of our members just to my sure this is not a USER issue :p

HI, I'm also trying to do a USB to DC but for my hub usb. I'm using a 3mm jack power and need to connect to a USB type A. The jack is + in center but I don't know how to map to USB internal conectores. Anyone has the diagram to this cable? Also, it needs to hold 2A. Thanks!

Hi folks, A few weeks after, my new usb hub finally arrived! Using 2.7.7. in MKIV and at the moment here is the status: 3G pen - OK USB hub - I believe ok (still in brick power just in case) SanDisk 4GB - Half OK - Appear in resources, but no option to install infusions in USB storage. In none of the several infusions. Does anyone knows what can it be? Here it goes my logs and setup pic. Many thanks! Hi webdirector, Will post my fstab no prob asap. But in my case, I could mount one of the two partitions and when try to use disappeared again. Hi Haroo, thanks for your input. Regarding the powered hub, I didn't check the polarity :( will buy a new one and check that. Can you point me to your especific model and let me know if you needed to invert yours? Do you juice it at 9 or 12v? Absolutly agree about the curving learn, still learning to deal with power and usb issues in pineapple. Thanks!

Glad it's not a iPhone too! Hate Apple lol In my case, just loosing most of the battles with my Pineapple from day 1, but hey still fighting with it! The end of war is still far! Hoping for a stable 2.8.0 that could fixe some of my issues with USB. :)

In version 2.7.0 and 2.7.4 I also did for the 3G and microsd for a day lol, then dissapear with no reason at all. In 2.7.5 the pen model is detected now with diferent model and the ajustment in 3g script does not work. Always returning "usb-modeswitch: switching seemingly failed". Where can I reach the 2.7.0 without OTA? Would like to flash because without that I'm stuck in 2.7.5. Thxs

Thanks for your opinion. 1) far from comparing with a product like iphone, but for me this is a overpriced product when does not deliver what is suppost to. 2) I did not pay for HW alone, read the Hak5 site and you will find that you are buying a product with a hak framework in it. Thats the all purpose of the product. If not BT5 would do the work for me. 3) Agree with you, but this is my opinion regarding the stable of the product and not the good will of the comunity. 4) The purpose of a forum is to let other folks now what they can expect if they buy the product. This is not beeing bully or "smartass", thats my 5cents like you give yours. I remember that I'm trying to solved this for weeks, and with more than 200 dolars spend with no return at all. Sebkinne, I don't put in question your great effort in try to help me and other folks. But, first, I post, my 3G script, the system logs, the errors and also what changed. What logs do your talk about I didn't show? Since I bought pineapple, I've tried 3 battery packs, no usb working until now. 4 diferente types of storage, 3x 3G pens ... Sorry but If we look for the principal threads that exist in the fórum, a HUGE number of them are regarding, POWER, USB and 3G. Sorry mate, but until now, the product doesn't worth the Money! Just my opinion... Thanks for your help and effort ;)

Thanks for you interest in my worries. Well now I was trying to put 3G to work and guess what? Not working! After that, unpluged the anker, bricked to Wall the pineapple, put the scandisk 4G and worked! Execute: ls /dev/sd* /dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 Both sda1 and 2 appear in resources. Now its the 3G that don't work. I honestly don't understand the unstability,...

My new powered usb was powered using anker 10k output barrel directly to usb hub. The light appears up and down in intensity, then smell burn and that's all. No more NEW hub. 200 € after, still no USB drive in pineapple, or hub usb working. Almost two months after bought, the only think that works fine is 3g pen without microsd in it. So sad about this produt :(
