hi guys,I had bought Alfa Awus036nha with APA M04 [http://hackerwarehouse.com/product/7dbi-directional-panel-antenna/] directional antenna one year ago and I felt that the range isn't far :( My tplink 8200nd is almost cover longer range than my AWUS036nha. I was thinking to setup this device with TP-link 2424 http://www.tplink.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-ANT2424B ,anyone can teach me how to setup to get the best range out of the device? Anyway,do you guys know is it legal to use at Malaysia? Thanks Any upgrade will be recommended :)

Hi,thanks for the reply :) I'm using it with windows 7 ultimate 64bit and windows 8.1 64bit :) Currently just hook it directly without connecting to anything :) just awus036nha to usb port :) but it keep disconnects when I surfing the net which annoying me the most :) Hope you could help me,your help will be appreciated :) p/s Didn't open any programs but only google chrome and internet explorer

Thanks I just got my item and I found the wireless AWUS036NHA got a bit sound when i load page or whatever like downloading thing. I got a bit of buzz sound when i put my ear near on it. and the link keep on blinking. Thanks for the explanation and advise :) I got around 4 bar strength from my house wireless,it is normal or weak?

Thanks for the fast reply.I got search about it but they said AWUS036NHA not stable as AWUS036H at backtrack 5,is it true? Because I'm still a beginner and hope I can develop and learn some skill. I scared AWUS036NHA got compatible issue that need some advanced skills to solve it as well. Thanks for the advise,will look on for it :) I'm not that advanced to understand all the things yet,sorry for my bad and newbie. Okay,It seems like driver support not an issue now. I'm confused to choose between AWUS036H and AWUS036NHA I found out that a lot of review say that ALFA AWUS036H work out of the box while AWUS036NHA is atheros. I don't know how to decide between the two.Please guide me as well I hope you guys can help me out here. I'm worry to buy AWUS036H because ALFA NETWORK stop to update the driver for this old model.
