Well I did not have the module installed to start with. So I had done a reflash of 2.7.5 and only installed the new v2.3 and had the error. Thanks again Whistle master and Sebkinne

I am on 2.7.5. I have my pineapple powered with 12v from ac adapter with a powered usb hub and hooked to that hub is my Awus036h adapter. Im connected through wifi to the pineapple, same issue when connected through poe/lan. I too have the issue of my pineapple wlan0 being switched to wlan1. Even though the pineapples wifi is enabled the blue light does not show any indication when there is another wifi adapter connected ( dont know if that had already been mentioned in any previous post.. sorry) OH yah karma is also disabled when I have the awus036h connected, I am unable to start karma either.

First off which version of the firmware are you running? Have you tried doing a reflash to the newest firmware? Which I believe is 2.7.5 that includes many fixes and improvements.

So I upgraded to version 3.3 of Randomroll and it has erased all of my modules :( epic sad face!

Don't use the Cruzer Fit line... I know it sucks but for some reason they just don't work. I had a 4gb Fit and it went into a write protected mode, I was unable to write or format the drive. I purchased another small usb drive made by verbatim. Its called a Tuff n Tiny lol. Its a tad bigger than the Sandisk, but I haven't had any of the problems I've had with the Sandisk.

Yes. I reflashed to 2.7.0 and mdk3 and occupineapple worked great until I restarted the pineapple now mdk3 will not list ssids. Correction I restarted and re-installed mdk3 and everything works fine now...

Well I have installed your awesome module to usb. I stopped wireless on the status page, enabled it in occupineapple, then started mon interface. I am unable to deauth, beacon flood, or broadcast any SSIDs. The WLAN LED will blink rapidly but I do not see any SSIDs. Its a great module I can't wait to get it working! BTW does this need to be ran from a 3rd party wlan radio such as the AWUS036H?

Hi, can I ask what firmware version this was tested on? I've tried this module on 2.7.0 and 2.7.4 and so far haven't had any success. :(

I think its possible to keep your modules if you are on firmware 2.7.1. It shows an option to keep existing modules. http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/index.php?changes look at 2.7.1 changelog

After the sandisk stopped working I bought a verbatim tuff n go 4gb usb drive. It works great haven't had any issues.

I purchased the a 4gb Sandisk Fit when I got my pineapple a month ago. I was able to use it on battery power for the first few days, I used two battery sources the Pineapple Juice battery and I also tried an Anker3 battery. Then the usb drive wasn't being detected. I tried to format the usb drive on several different machines, linux and windows, none of the computers I used were able to format that little usb drive. So I contacted the resellers and they promptly sent out another 4gb usb, which now will only work correctly when plugged into ac power. So at least in my experience my usb drive stopped working and had to return it for another.
