  1. Hi, I've noticed that on when connecting to Hotspots, the hotspot router doesn't use DNS spoofing to redirect you to their splashpage. I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate this into the Pineapple firmware - this would be a lot more reliable as people wouldn't need to flush their DNS, etc. Unrelated question: Is it possible to DNS Spoof clients requesting access to a SSL encrypted domain? Thanks, Sam
  2. Shortly I'm going to be setting up an online store selling a range of gadgets and gizmos. I am planning on selling modified AP121Us with the Pineapple firmware installed as I have noticed there are no suppliers of the Pineapple Wifi router in europe - meaning that anyone in the EU has to pay an extortionate fee (50$) to have one sent over. I believe that it would be a good idea to add them to my store so people don't have to pay such a high postage fee - I would sell it for the same price as on the Hak5 store however the postage would be dramatically cheaper. Therefore I'm asking for some advice on the legality of selling the modified AP121Us and whether I will have to pay a royalty to the Jasager Dev team for using their firmware or not. Thanks.
  3. I've just ordered this, hopefully it should work. I'm just reading through the Clean Flash instructions however I don't understand how to setup a TFTP. It also refers to the device as the "pineapple" throughout, does this mean that it wont work for the normal Alfa router with the default firmware?
  4. Thanks for the prompt response, could you recommend a serial adapter for me? Also, do you know how I can easily open up the device to expose the board? Cheers.
  5. Unfortunately, Instead of buying the Pre-Flashed Pineapple IV, I had to buy an AP121U with the default Alfa firmware loaded on it due to the fact I live in the UK and If I tried to buy a preflashed device off the Hak5 shop, the postage to England was extortionately high (48$!). Updating the firmware to the Jasager build isn't as easy as I expected! I have tried uploading the firmware through the routers UI however it doesn't seem to work. If anyone is be able to give me some advice on what to do, it would be greatly appreciated.
