  1. yo... I've got a mk4 running 2.7 firmware. Everything is working extremely groovy except awus036nha is not mounting on startup/reboot. if i physically disconnect and reconnect the device, it works no problem. root@Pineapple:~# lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0409:005a NEC Corp. 2. had a real similar issue.. and ive seen more than a few posts about san disk cruisers not working with the pineapple i've never seen a flash drive compatibility issue.. but perhaps we have found one?
  3. either get the network manager module, there is "dont broadcast ssid" option or i think you can: iwconfig wlan0 essid off
  4. have you powered the hub with a battery pack? did you have to make your own cable to get from usb to barrel connector? i'm considering getting the F5U404PBLK with an anker astro2 8400mah
  5. i had a similar issue with usb light.. turned out to be a bad usb drive. strange thing was, it works fine in any computer i stick it in, but the pineapple doesnt seem to love it. have you tried another usb drive? (no need to reformat, the usb light should come on if it finds a device) as to the /usb path missing.. maybe its created on demand the first time a usb device is mounted?
  6. definately powered usb. ive been looking into powered vs non powered myself.. and from what i've seen, non powered is really hit or miss. but the alfa usb cards seem to universally hate non-powered usb hubs also, i use a moto xoom to connect to the pineapple all the time. web ui, i use firefox, and ssh .. gotta go with connectbot
  7. it would need to be a powered usb hub. i've tried using a non powered one with a wireless card and a flash drive, and neither worked. i think i saw a thread with some tips on powering a usb hub with the battery pack
  8. You by chance using that little 4 gig sandisk cruizer that comes with the ultras elites? i was having similar issues until it quit working all together with the mk4.. the thing works fine plugged into a computer, but the usb indicator light on the mk4 doesnt even come on anymore when i plug it in. switched to a different flash drive.. workin like a champ now
  9. I just flashed 2.7 with the web ui on a mark iv.. everything went swimingly, save for the web ui isnt working now. When you go to http://172.16.42.1/pineapple you get stuck in a redirecting loop the /www/pineapple directory was missing, so i coppied /pineapple to /www/pineapple and was able to get to the web ui.. there were some bugs though. 1. links in the navbar.php were pointing to /index.php?<php variable> >> changed to index.php?<php variable> and the links are working now 2. there is no authentication on the web ui 3. if you try to install modules from the web ui.. they download to /overlay/pineapple/modules . but they dont get added to the pineapple bar i thnk issues 2 and 3 are because copying the pineapple directory was the wrong route to go... has anyone else seen this and perhaps has a fix?
