  1. Translate : ... "Hi i am 15 and taking AP computer sic only been in the class for a few weeks i don't really know where to start or really much about java. I am in need of help, most people these days are using the Technic launcher to play Mine-craft as there are many more features in comparison too the original game, but there is one problem they only let you play the modifications in that they themselves are incorporated with. What i would like to do is to create a program that will do the same thing as the Technic Launcher , somehow incorporate the same procedure as a magnet link (the same as the ones slowly replacing torrents) so people can click a magnet link and it will download the file when there is an update " end translation. This is all i could make out of it O.o i thought i had the jist of his question at first , but towards the end realized your problem pwnd2pwnr PC2011 , what is your target that you wish to achieve?
  2. Tactoad Hotglue all the way man :) I had the same with mine , thank god i got quiet a few of these cables lying around my room :P my original RP-SMA Adapter went all frayed and pretty much fell to pieces on the inside due too over use, the new adapter I fitted had a sort of clamp on the inside and out hasn't moved a tiny bit since , but I still agree with Tactoad , hotglue should work :)
  3. Just thought while people are uploading their setups id get a picture of mine up in here at the moment my setup will do me fine , until i get a bit richer , and afford matching stands and monitors etc. :D i have synergy running on my 3 Laptops and PC My Old Laptop (still use when i need too) runs Backtrack R3 KDE /Win7 DualBoot My Hack-top runs Backtrack Gnome R3 My Samsung is running windows 8 The two 15.4 inch monitors i got for like £10 at a computer fair they are attached too my main PC alongside with my projector. My main PC is running Win 7 Ultimate there are 3 netbooks ontop of my PC but there not worth mentioning 2 EEEPCC 701's and one samsung netbook the samsung netbook is my girlfriends ubuntu laptop one EEEPC has no keyboard , mouse , screen and runs windows xp " lite " i used too use it as a minecraft server :D the other EEEPC is currently running an EEEPC android os i found online :)
  4. Barry99705 Holy F***! thats awesome , do you by any chance use synergy across those beauties , because i could imagine that being a bit messy with multiple keyboards + mice , i dream one day to be able to afford a rig like that, how much did the monitor stands + Monitors set you back , and what graphics card you use? :D
  5. I think David Tennant (With Rose) were the best seasons so far :) but Matt Smith is watchable and enjoyable though :)
  6. As a big Dr who fan i was browsing the web reading up on some Dr. who stuff ( as you do) after finding out about a spin-off series starring K-9 (the Doctors Dog) I downloaded the series and was getting into it quite a bit in the first episode UNTIL!.... at the end of it , somebody referred too him as a dog , and he corrected them by saying his specification , one of which made me laugh a bit , - So the Futuristic K-9 Of Doctor who apparently is , "a cybernetic construction containing quantum contentiousness and is capable of logical deduction to within 1.4759 gigaflops" ect ect . what im nott too sure of is ... how can they apply gigaflops to logical deduction? Also if he's so futuristic , why has he not got capability of doing this in say 50 petaflops ... ooooo :D thats futuristic. I say this because recently ( the past few weeks) iv been researching quite a bit on clusters and there are clusters out there that are thousands of times faster than k-9 , the way im understanding what he's saying anyway. Correct me if im wrong but isnt a 2.5 Ghz processor capable of doing 10 GigaFLOPS ? :S and does that mean K-9 the time vortex traveling dog that has saved the planet and the doctor on many occasions is no more powerful than my old intel dual core , or even worse . a samsung S3? also , are there any other Dr.who fans out there in Hak5 land , and if so , who's your favourite doctor ? :D
  7. I REMEMBER THIS! , i am pretty sure i remember what distro you'r talking about , i came across it last year at some point while living with my friends , i had no internet and used what i could to gain access to the internet " to my router downstairs of which i forgot my password for :) " , this was one of the CD's i had burried in my bag prior to moving in , personally , id just recommend backtrack now, i only stumbled onto backtrack when r4 was out , and got oober hyped up for r5 this year , I was not dissapointed :) , it does everything + more, i wish someone could of pointed me towards it at the time :) , what is it you want to use it for? anything specifically?

  10. I wouldn't be a dictator lmao i just like to keep my network "under control" :) and im sure that wont change anytime soon, i just like having the know how , and would never put it to evil use, as my kid grows up it will learn. With great power comes oober responsibility aha. Our kids are the future, the more we learn , the more we can teach :)
  11. I wasn't suggesting using TOR , because the more exit nodes there are , the better , and we dont want them getting shut down:) .i was suggesting the method of through the cloud which digip mentioned and with regards of free wifi access points to save some time searching for a wifi point if you arent mad on wardriving , some people are , im still waiting till i can afford a GPS dongle to go war-cycling around Manchester :) so i can add my results to the cloud on http://wigle.net/ ;) where free access points are easier to find than running round with your laptop out running airodump or Wicd:)
  12. only thing i could sugest is re writing the image to the flashdrive. did you back it up?
  13. when i lived with my parents , i used to "acquire" access to my dads computer "his pride and joy" and then question him on why he had programs on his computer i knew what were for eg, Mac spoofer's, wire shark and many other network monitoring tools, his reply ... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY DO. I get my technolust from my dad and i am still to this day sure he's a hacker at heart despite his denial. makes me laugh though , because i think this is what i will one day become when im a dad LMAO.
  14. quick one guys , would it not be best too set LHOST at a server in the cloud and Listen on that server , would that not partial mask yourself , as apposed to if the "victoms" PC was saying THISPROGRAM.exe is trying to gain access too 276.65.8.98 (Your IP Address) , just a suggestion for masking yourself , would this work or be worth doing or would you be able too ssh the traffic through another Computer elsewhere. not that you'd be doing this from home obviously :) but you know , if you had a 3G dongle with pay as you go simcard and were trying too gain access too your home network "on the go" this way that sounds fun :) just to confuse your "home router" :)
