  1. In the index of the :Hacking 4 Dummies: 4th Ed., I found this link. http://hakshop.myshopify.com/products/reaver-pro/ I know that shop! (Link is broke, though... but it is still hak5 :) )
  2. I have never been more confused from a forum post. I will remember, though, that the next time I go ahead and tinker with a POS client; I better not stack a bunch of ISOs on it. For what it's worth :)
  3. The mail server probably black lists imap or pop. You would need administrative access to actually apply the imap or pop changes I do believe.
  4. While were on the subject of thermite. I think a fun project would be a "Thermite Intrusion Detection Chassis". Dangerous as hell inside your house; but how Mi5 would that be?
  5. LOL... crashed my PC when attempting to aircrack. I bet it has to do with something with the nearly one billion combinations. Hard to cache that and pass that.
  6. My PC took 3 hours to unzip... lol ... but my cpu is too vanilla to even open it. "Memory is too low to open file". Ill keep it on a thumb drive JIC.
  7. My only guess would be that they are timing out... can you find the TTL in the script and modify that, perhaps?
  8. Not sure if anyone here is a Tarantino fan... but Django, in my opinion, is the best since Pulp Fiction.
  9. Wow... Rainbow Tables for WPA2... lol PS... first time I have touched a torrent in 5 years... :) ... I think it is worth it...
  10. Subtle would be out of the question. xD
  11. This thread is old... but I will say my part. Any classroom experience is worth its time as long as you have the drive and enthusiasm to do so. I do believe, personally, that a lot of colleges now a days are little more than ponzi schemes. If you want the possibility of transfering credits to extend you education; then do so with a Community College... not a trade school (if you can call it that). To anyone who is concerned with ITT Tech... check out there fiscal reports. Kevin M. Modany $ 788,250 #http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/person.asp?personId=4095864&ticker=ESI Daniel M. Fitzpatrick $335,320 Clark D. Elwood $ 330,270 Eugene W. Feichtner $ 305,525 June M. McCormack $ 272,700 //\\//\\ Those are the big wigs of ITT Tech. Similar salaries to major University Presidents. But, when you ask yourself what looks better on a resume? Would you rather say something like U of M than ITT Tech?
  12. A friend of mine is milling me some shims... tried to see if he could make this; but it wasn't cost effective for him... http://www.lockpickshop.com/TPXS-78.html The tubular lock pick looks like a lot of fun... agreed?
  13. Not sure if anyone else had the issue; but check your MD5... you will get a really screwy install that will lock up your bootloader. I downloaded it from source three seperate times and didn't check the md5 the first two attempted installs. Secondly, not to be the "where is the tool that..." guy; but why isn't geoiplookup available off hand? Still can't get the city feature to work, but I am sure I will resolve it eventually.
  14. After experiencing the pokey when I was a younger lad for 9 months; I think I could do FEDERAL prison time. Just my books and I... and working out 8 hours a day... ;)
  15. It is amazing they still sell most padlocks at all...
  16. Too cool, N3wb... (High Five) ... Stay driven and nothing will stop you.
  17. CISPA = Cracking Into Servers Publicly or Anonymously... :)
  18. I figured 1 year and a little over half a million in restitution is not a bad deal... well... I think I would tell the judge to sentence me for the 600,000 $... where the hell does someone have that type of scratch laying around?
  19. Well, I guess this is one of those things...
  20. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/04/19/lulzsec_sony_hack_sentencing/ I couldn't help but think of Smithers...
  21. A guy at radioshack showed me one of these he made.... genius
  22. OK, after a long, exhausting study session about how data centers collect data; I have came to the conclusion that some shit is just way over my head. I hate looking for answers... only to find more questions. I would imagine the DC's would collect data through targeted strings from search queries. Is it that simple? I am interested to know how / what protocols would need to be used and what kind of server would be able to process a half a zetabyte of data; which our internet as we know it consists of 500 exabytes. I know that there is a new DC opening in Virginia and is boasting SIX ZETABYTES... Moral/ethics aside, how do you feel about our government having the capability to do... well... anything with your personal data?
  23. Hmmm... could the potentiometer control the opacity of the text? Can't load the arduino.cc site at the moment... but I will look into it when I get my board out.
  24. You have loaded the module into the Uno? I don't have the sketchbook in front of me so I can't test the code; but as far as I can tell the code is fine. Your twelve volt is giving power (just getting past the obvious). I tried looking at your bread board... but I can't follow the lines (too early ;) ) I do notice a lack of resistors. You may need resistors for this. ScrOOGLE "Lady Ada Arduino" and enjoy ;)
