  1. Ahh, yes I see the errors now, I have updated the post to reflect the correct build... I guess I need alcohol to think straight. Seb, if you need a buildslave, PM me, I have some horsepower that could be utilized for something like this...
  2. So, to shed some light on what is going on with openwrt... "There was a apparently major server RAID breakdown in connection with a planned version update for some services, and that left some of the services unusable for two days. Now most of the servers have been brought back online, but apparently the main web site is still off." That was a few days ago, the thread I linked below has a little more detail, but the snapshots are still being rebuilt... it looks like the ar7xx build keeps failing re-build for some reason; per the buildbot link below, the next attempt at rebuild will be complete in 2 hours, but nodes are already reporting failure, so it isnt likely that this will self-resolve today. I will post more or any links if I ever find any. https://forum.openwr...ic.php?id=39817 http://buildbot.openwrt.org/builders/ar71xx
  3. I have never seen the AP, but I have seen the client try and connect to: "Shh... I'm under your bed..."
  4. Not sure if this is an issue local to me or not; but each time i hit the resources page, all my "clients" get disassociated. Thoughts?
  5. I second this one... I like it for a few reasons- two USB ports; bout 10 hrs with the pineapple/usb hub/4g modem; and you can charge it while the pineapple is running off of it... I don't like turning my pineapple off when i am almost out of juice. Good price too.
  6. So, I have gotten my Sprint/Ting 250U modem to work on the mk4 (1199:0301) but there is clearly some modeswitching that could take place to enable 4g. To get 3g working, all you need to do is modify the last entry in the default script (Huawei Modem 3-IRL) to the proper vendor code, change the service from "umts" to "cdma", and comment out the modeswitch. The only strange thing is; If the modem has been powered down for an extended period of time, I need to plug it in to any of my other machines and run minicom (to initialize the modem) before it starts responding to commands... (then there is a mad-dash to get it plugged back in to a power source before all the capacitors lose their charge) Probably a dumb question... but anyone know what Minicom would be doing during initialization that would cause my modem to start responding again? I will post some details when I am done re-flashing the device. Thanks,
  7. I have similar issues when i boot the MarkIV with an alfa awus036h. If I cold-boot the device then plug in the alfa, everything works fine... but if i cold-boot with the alfa plugged in, the MarkIV's radio doesnt seem to work properly. I haven't done much troubleshooting though. I will post logs later, if I get a chance. Thanks
