  1. Can't wait. I brought this up back at the end of July after contacting the Hakshop because a hoodie order was cancelled awhile back and was told they were working on new designs.
  2. I had a bag full of change in my backpack when flying once, apparently it was enough that they couldn't see through it. Instead of asking me what could be in there, they decided to hold up the line about 10 minutes while they continued to run it through over and over again.
  3. Doing a lot of the same. I'm very new to a lot of this. A site that was posted on Reddit that was pretty neat to try was http://overthewire.org/wargames/ check it out and see if it helps at all.
  4. most importantly… you're LEARNING.
  5. I would try to resend it, but keep in mind that the crew is currently in Las Vegas for Defcon. They've always been quick to respond to my questions so it may have just gotten lost in the shuffle. When I say quick, I mean Sara has gotten back to me within about 2 hours.
  6. Also coined the phrase "debug", along with Naval commands named after her. Hopper Information Service Center, Echelon 3 command to Office of Naval Intelligence.
  7. I haven't seen one in a long time. I remember when we had a couple posted outside the doors to my high school, before cell phones were so common. Needed a ride, call collect, and at say your name.. "hey mom, I need a ride".
  8. I could use some help, if anyone can offer some. My google-fu is failing me when trying to solve this problem. I setup a form in Outlook 2007 to allow for users to submit trouble calls to a mail enabled public folder to allow for anyone in the office to be able to see the ticket and troubleshoot the issue. Creating the form took some time but figured that out, now trying to find a way to deploy the form to all users to elevate user interaction for the initial push. I've created a VB macro that i've attached to the toolbar, upon clicking opens up the form with the send and subject information filled in allowing clients to fill in the blocks for their trouble call. How could I go about deploying the outlook macro to each user with the least amount of user interaction?
  9. Flashing the firmware for upgrade is as simple as is says on the screen, I just did mine last night, the only issue I came across was the firmware upgraded however the screen didn't seem to say complete after letting it run for about an hour. The episode I believe you're talking about was Season 9, Episode 11 so 911.
  10. Damn that reminds me when AOL was being given away on 3.5 floppy disks. I wish I could remember the program I had way back when, it would record/log keystrokes and it would macro out symbols into the chat room that made a picture. I've actually looked around in my area i'm at for 2600. They use to sell it at Barnes and Noble, I may just have to resort to ordering them. I've never been one to be like "hahaha i can hack my neighbors wifi", I'm all about how it's done, and with given resources why I was able to do something. Goes back to when I was a kid and less techy but trying to attach a blowtorch to my skateboard to make it a rocket, *before I understood the concepts of thrust*
  11. So i've been a long time viewer and been lurking through the forums for awhile now and finally decided to join the community. I've learned more from the show and forums about things we use in our everyday life that i'm in disbelief. Long story short I had a couple of questions for everyone. What inspired you to join the field you're in? At what age did you start tinkering with phones, computers, etc..? Recommended reading for anyone interesting in Linux, Backtrack, Programming, Security? (Found securitytube.net to be a huge resource of information)
