I was looking for a portable power source for the Pineapple myself. In the process, I came up with one of the most ghetto things that I've ever done in my IT career. A 6 volt lantern battery seems to work just fine. All you have to do is find a DC power cable that you aren't too attached to, hack several inches of it off before the barrel, strip and expose the copper wire, stab some holes in the plastic endcaps that came with the battery, thread the wires into them, and replace the caps onto the battery. They snap back into place and complete the circuit. This Pineapple has been running for about 7 hours now without a problem on a $4.00 battery from the local dollar store.
