  1. No worries. As I mentioned in a previous post, it was easy enough when I had found all the needed hardware.
  2. That didn't work for me. I tried various combinations and durations of pressing the reset button without luck. My pineapple shipped with 2.1.0 - could it have been added in a later revision?
  3. I ended up just booting it with a serial connection and changing the password from there. It proved to be much easier than I feared at first. 5 minutes of digging through a couple of drawers for some hardware, and two minutes of rigging a temporary thing where I didn't have to damage any connectors, etc.
  4. I already have one of these, so I figured I'd give it a try first. Was going to use VCC from another source (with 3.3V), but I'll go ahead and drop VCC there and use the onboard power as you suggested.
  5. Thanks for the swift reply. Now I'll just have to hack togheter something for the serial. Good thing I didn't have any plans this friday :)
  6. Just got my MKIV today and like the noob I apparently am, I managed to get the same typo in my password twice. Is there any way to reset the password without breaking up the case and logging in via serial console? If not, is there a somewhat safe way to open the enclosure without breaking it? Are there screws underneath the rubber "feet" or something? Thanks in advance
