  1. May I ask what size drill bit you used and the tap? thanks
  2. Thanks for the write-up Telot. Just wish I saw this guide before I installed the module via the UI. I think the sslstrip is what caused my mkiv to brick. I wasn't able to ssh into it and the web ui was unresponsive. I hit the reset button and now the WPS light is blinking constantly. I hope this will remedy the issue, but can't check it out till i get my TTL cable to do a clean flash.
  3. Thanks Mr-Protocol, but the windows 7 drivers I downloaded from there does not seem to be working. I was able to download the driver, but when I try to install it, it does not recognize the device and gave me a BSOD twice. I do not believe that this is compatible with my 64-bit system.
  4. Could you please upload the drivers to mediafire or some other hosts? That link is prompting for a username and password. I've tried the alfa website to download the drivers as well, but the website stalls.
  5. I hit the reset button on the bottom of the mark IV because I kept getting a "page not found" error when trying to login into the web UI. Now the "WPS" light is flashing constantly and nothing I do is working. I've held in the reset button for 10, 20, 30 seconds and also left the power adapter unplugged for 10 minutes and plugged it back in. I'm using the wall plugin power supply that came with the unit. I have also tried to ssh into the device to no avail. Any suggestions? Edit: So I'm guessing that I will need to do a clean flash because it seems to be bricked (not sure how that happened). Will this cable work? http://www.amazon.com/USB-3-3V-Auto-sensing-adapter/dp/B004LC54ZY/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_3 ?
  6. Thanks Subzero, I managed to get it sorted by going from sda1, 2, 3, 4, 5...etc. It turned out to be sda6. Go figure.
  7. I would also like to know the solution to this problem. Ever since I updated from v.1.1.1 to v.2.3.3, it did this.
  8. I can't get the sandisk usb 4gb fit drive that came with the elite package to mount. I followed the gparted formatting instructions here: http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=25706 and changed the fstab to match Darrens via the thread he made on how to do it. Everytime I type "mkswap /dev/sda1" I get the message "no such file or directory", the flash drive is blinking and the LED light is on constant on the mark IV. I've tried to reboot, and followed other tips I found through out the forum as well. Please help. Thanks. EDIT: Now when I type: "mkswap /dev/sda1" I get this message: "/dev/sda1: Device or resource busy"
