  1. SSH into the pineapple (putty will work). Login opkg remove twisted-web opkg install twisted-web Then you should test to make sure it works by using python (or just trying to run something like sslstrip) python >> import twisted.web if it does so without exceptions, twisted web is installed. However, if karma won't start, you may have another issue altogether. While ssh'd in, try this /etc/init.d/karma start See what the error is.
  2. I haven't tried to use the client mode on wlan1 yet, but I'm using masquerade in linux via my eth0 on my laptop to get internet. Works like a boss.
  3. I just did a system restore, reinstalled twisted-web to get sslstrip working, and now everything seems to work fine. Just very strange.
  4. After fixing the sslstrip issue by removing and re-installed twisted-web using opkg, karma won't seem to start. It actually worked until I restarted the pineapple. Not sure what I can do to give you guys any diagnostic messages in order to pinpoint the issue. Any pointers? Edit: so trying to run /etc/init.d/karma start returns the following error: "Failed to connect to hostapd - wpa_ctrl_open: No such file or directory" Attempting to reinstall hostapd doesn't fix the issue.
  5. I've used SSLstrip against facebook and am still able to pull credentials without an issue (at least using the mobile interface).
  6. All I did to get sslstrip working was remove and reinstall twisted-web using opkg in ssh. Granted, I started from a fresh config, also seem to need karma to be off for some reason (or else it borks it). Don't know if one has anything to do with the other.
  7. Yea, I forgot to enable swap in fstab. Thanks for the quick response!
  8. In the immortal words of Joe Esposito: "You're the best". Now if only I could figure out how to get the swap to work. I'm following the directions from here: http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=25882&st=0&p=198228&hl=ext4&fromsearch=1entry198228 , and it's mounting my USB, but when I issue the "mkswap /dev/sda2" command and rebooting, "free" still shows 0 0 0 for swap. It's a hard knock life. EDIT: Disregard that last bit. My common sense was eaten by a grue and I forgot to enable the swap mount in fstab. You're still my hero.
  9. Greetings! I just got a Pineapple Mark IV and I ended up running out of space on it (can't save any settings or changes). I formatted a 4 GB USB key to a 3GB Ext4 partition and a 1GB Swap and the pineapple recognizes it, but symlinks don't seem to solve the issue. I'm running the latest firmware (2.3.1) and I'm trying to do a reset and... it's not working. I've tried the reset button on the bottom, I've tried doing it from the web interface, no joy any way. Right this second I have it in recovery mode (I can telnet in via 192.168.1.1), and maybe I'm being derptarded, but I don't see a reset script. The pineapple is NOT bricked. I just want to Etch-A-Sketch this bad boy and start fresh. tl;dr: How do I restore the pineapple to stock settings (wiping everything)?
