If i remember right when i was messing around with my pineapple when i first got it i went crazy installing models and making my own rick rolls etc, not realizing how low memory on the thing was, what to do is try deleting the smallest file you can find 1k or something then work you're way up to the bigger files, i think the problem is you're trying to delete a big file / group of files in order to delete any thing you need memory for the delete operation to be carried out, if you know what i mean? i may be wrong and talking a load of baloney! but its worth a try, and if i remember right its what id did and it worked, i think i may have used scp to delete the files as well, that's another route you could go down. - Anton.

Hey Hackrylix it is possible but the wireless card must have etheir the atheros or prisim chip set(atm), seb (the firmware guy) has said he will implement the option into the pineapple (i think he said that any way) I duno if he just means he will implement the functionality or make and an actual module to make switching what interface karma run's on. There are a couple of alfa cards that have the atheros chip set that can be used with karma, some guy's here on the forum have had it working to an extent. As a side not i don't really see any benefit at the moment to using an external interface for karma as the pineapple seems to have a problem increasing the tx power of external devices, but i can't really say why, maybe some one else could shed some light on it. lol the ghost? never heard that term before but any hooo... i think what you friend is referring to is the recovery partition on you're hard drive that will allow you to restore the factory image (os and all that, but not you're music pictures etc, they are most likely lost) to it's original state, compaq and hp usually have goo documentation on how access the recovery partition in order to install it, it usually involves pressing one of the f keys at boot (f1,f2.f3 etc) then going though a couple of menu's. If there is no documentation on etheir compaq or hp's website just try google searching "how to restore recovery partition (pc model here)" i am sure you will find the answer. I can also confirm this, when the ALFA awus036h is plugged into the pineapple on boot, it is set to wlan0 and the internal wifi become wlan1. I am on fw 2.6.3, no tested on 2.6.4 yet, gona stick to 2.6.4 until the all the modules that i use are fixed. Would be cool though if this issue could be implememnted into the new fw releases, simple solution atm is to wait until the pineapple is fully booted before plugging the card in. - Anton.

I am no expert, and don't mean to be demeaning in any way but the chances of you getting a job up against say some one who didn't commit any crimes are not so good for you, but that's just stating the obvious, although employers are not meant to be selective towards candidates in any way it does go on, that's just the way of the world. If you want to put you're hacking skills to good use become a pen tester, a self employed one ;) because again and not meaning to sound rotten but if you are trying to get a job in an area you have comited and office in its going to be come even more difficult, self employment is the way to go! - Anton

Hey, the easiest way to do what you are asking is use the NetworkManager module. In this module there is a tab that says ICS (aka internet connection sharing). Once you click that tab you will be taken to a new tab area. In here you will see share internet from and to, i have my share internet from set to eth1 (thats my ethernet cable that feeds the pineapple internet from my router). I have to set to wlan0, wlan0 is the pineapples one board wifi that your "victims" connect to / get karma'd to. Here is a screen shot, hope this help's. Don't forget to hit save! also there is the enable at boot option but that's self explanatory. - Anton. p.s. i forgot to mention some of the modules might not work atm on fw 2.6.4 due too some changes, i am running fw 2.6.3 atm and this work's so if this doen't work for tou it might be the model got broken in the fw update, you could always downgrade to 2.6.3 until it's fixed :)

Hi all, i have a few questions relating to karma/jaseger. The first is what is the actual name, karma or jasager lol is it both? #iamanoob. Secondly i was trying to see if i could get my ALFA awus036h to work with karma as i am in Bolivia :) and it can output 1w, but after further reading i have came the the conclusion that karma/jasager will only worth with atheros chipsets and prisim chipsets? so as the awus036h has a realtek chipset does this mean that karma/jasager will not work with it, period? So this bring's me on to my other question, can any of the 2w (AWUS036NHA & AWUS036NH) cards be used with karma, i have seen some threads here and there on the forums with limited success but it looks complicated (for me anyway) to implement, i also read that soon it would be implemented into the next fw release (meaning the ability to choose which device karma uses). Has it been implemented yet? The reason i want to know all this is i just dont want to rush out and but the hardware without knowing for sure! And finally my next question is the internal atheros wifi in the mkiv, can the tv power be modified like the alfa cards? seen a thread about it but can't find it now. Is there a max power output? Duno if this is in the right place or not as i could not find an off topic section in the forums otherwise i would post it here. I have had my pineapple out in the wild testing it with rick rolling and stuff, then an idea hut me, Dirty Noises!!! So yea.. I rip an auto file and threw together a landing page & looped it (i would like to point out there were no images on the landing page only audio which i made sure had no swear words because i am sensible like that, i would also like to point out this was late at night in a shopping center), so then I went shopping and sure enough Ahhhhhhhhhhh Ahhhhhhhhhhh Uhhhhhhhhhhh Uhhhhhhhhhh! the expression was priceless as people scurry to turn there phones off. I think all our idea's are great, the only problem with the wiki is that you need to do the whole registration process in order to contribute. I think the best bet would be to have a thread linking to other how to thread's but have them all ordered with titles etc in the one thread (the links to other threads) and from there someone could transfer them to the wiki (c&p). I just seems like the easiest option. Just encase that wasn't clear... Main Sticky Thread In Jaseger Section (How To's) In The How To's Thread we have titles and links to posts. Hey guy's not posted on here in a while but still read lot's! After i built my pineapple about 2 - 3 months ago i haven't really had allot of time to mess around with it, (i still dont even know how to hook up my alfa awus036h to increase the honey pot! so if any one can throw me a bone there i would appreciate it) but any how... I feel a how too's section in the forums for the pineapples would be cool and would save allot of time, i don't know if its me or mebay its the forums being changed or what not but i just cant find the words i need when searching for thing's mebay i am just stupid lol but i feel for beginners (a bit like my self) a how to's section would be most helpful. - Anton.

Been looking into getting one of these for a while, i think it would make a great pen test device + it has usb! whack a powered usb hub on there and a alfa or 2 and i think this would make a great mk5! Quick question & totally off topic but the main reason i want one of these is for a media center project i have in mind + my terabytes of all my 'backed-up' dvd's & blu rays.. the service port on the back of some tv's you get, its usualy a usb port, i take it that port would have power? that way i could power this think straight from the tv? from what i hear xbmc works on it as well which is the draw for me!!!

Hi RebelCork, If you have your own house in London that's pretty close to the events I don't see this being a problem (the police cant shutdown wifi in your home ;) ), I can see it being a problem if you do it outside your property in a public place, which I think is what they are telling you not to do, then again if you are in your car and you do it how does that work? ;) that aside you could always get a giant ass out door parabolic or Omni directional antenna mount it high and point it toward the Olympic stadium lol, not that I am suggesting you do such a thin :) Also I read a couple of weeks ago they are putting free wifi in the underground MITM? lol stupid that they stop people hosting there own hot spots yet they have there own big open one in the underground.... as the queen her self would say, many routes one could take! lmao. Also there is nothing to say you couldn't plant/hide a pineapple in the Olympic stadium with a big battery + 9 DBI OMNI & a 3g dongle for remote access... but that is highly illegal and any one caught doing that, with it being the Olympics and with the security and all would face jail time I think. hell London has a no fly zone atm that's how seriously they are taking security. No doubt allot of the news corporations will be doing something similar to what I have mentioned above during the Olympics to gain the upper hand on other new corps and try and find out what the popular athletes are up to, such as life is.... Any way I hope this gave you and any one else reading a good insight the the possibilities there are to get around this restriction, sorry for the big huge paragraph but I cant return for some reason... - anton
