  1. If you have the key i believe it may be possible
  2. Whine i somewhat common in DC power bricks but i would think a clicking noise would indicate an arc but i don't know that much about electronics so it might be fine.
  3. Due to the lack of moving parts i would say a clicking noise is a bad thing and would stop using it.

    DDoS case

Maybe look into how different forms of DoS attacks work such as DNS amplification and how that could be mitigated (one example could be reducing the amount of incorrectly configured DNS servers) This might be worth a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EAnjZqXK9E
  5. I don't think you would be able to leverage much CPU power using that method as anything you do will need to be run within the browsers limits unless you make them download something.
  6. I think they had potential problems with the TSA as the original versions looked like a grenade shape.
  7. They show it in the video and it is a mark V

    Trace Skype

If he is using a mobile and the mobile network i don't think there is anyway to get the location. If it is a land line number you may be able to get the overall area but that is about the best you are going to get.
  9. Yeh i had a temp solution of using an Iframe but was hoping to have it directly processed, I thought that nodog used UHTTP web server but i see now it uses its own. Thanks.
  10. Until you get an educated response i would keep it unplugged, i think LI-ION battery's don't like to be charged quicker than they are rated for and have been known to catch fire if left.
  11. Great stuff, I am working to create a captive portal but i need to put in some of my own PHP, at the moment it is being commented out and not being processed. Does anyone know how to make it process PHP, i looked at the UHTTP deamon and it has the php interpreter listed in it but i have no clue what to do next. Sorry i am new to this and have spent the last few hours trying to get this working, any help would be greatly appreciated (sorry if this is the wrong place)
  12. Uhh.... well it is the same way as over there AFAIK, if the number is local to you you don't need the area code and just dial the number if it is international you add the country code and if it is in another area you add the area code. FYI most numbers are listed with the area code. Mobile numbers you just dial the number and country code if it is international.
  13. You can use a passive adapter http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/image/data/sparkfun/passive-poe-cable-set-3.jpg
  14. I made one with DC male and USB on one end so that i could connect to anker battery or USB port and DC male on the other to plug into the pineapple. It works quite well.
  15. By that logic because i can use the pineapple for the flashy lights it can be marked as a lamp.... Or declare it as fruit as it is called a pineapple. Just because you use it for a specific purpose does not change the fact of what the device is, the pineapple is a wireless router whether you like it or not. The HAK shop do as much as they can to reduce the amount of tax payable but as mentioned they can't wrongfully declare orders or mark them as gifts or questions will be asked. All of this was made clear if you read the shipping policy's. Yes it does suck to have to pay taxes on imported goods but you have to deal with it like everyone else, I am not sure why you would be concerned about customs knowing what the device is anyway unless you plan illegitimate actions as they are perfectly legal to have and FCC registered and anyway by posting to a public forum with a photo i assume to be of yourself is more likely to have made a paper trail than importing one wireless router. But i agree UPS has some shady practices it should in no way cost over $10 for a brokerage fee, as that should be included in the international shipping costs.
  16. I have found hammers to be more effective.
  17. It was a LAN tap that sent cloned traffic over wifi to the monitoring station. I don't think that the bananas are for the interceptor as they were not the logo AFAIK and isn't it a dead project now anyway?
  18. The new pineapple is not RP-SMA so the antennas on that page would need an adapter.
  19. I should sleep, took that seriously for a second.
  20. Frying the components isn't really classed as bricking it....
  21. It was less than i was expecting anyway so i am happy, Thanks!
  22. He crossed the wires whilst shortening a cable is how i read it, the ones they supply is centrer +
  23. Same, mine was £23 but i also had an ubertooth so it was not that bad :) . It looks like £12.58 was vat and £11 was a surcharge.
