  1. Could of been formatted differently though.... "When I'm on a pentest, how do I prevent being caught? (by IDS' etc.)" Or how do I use the pineapple 'passively' and then the differences between modes and best practices to secure the identity of the ICS and other distinguishing features.
  2. If I walked in on that thing, I'd back away, slowly... Having said that, VERY cool project!
  3. I forgot I was in the pineapple section :p forget ws, do this ^
  4. Yes... kind of.. if I understand the question. You could just sniff the wifi you know the is BB using, (or get one yourself for testing) identify the packets in wireshark, then setup a filter for them.
  5. Custom ROM, default encryption.... so not much.
  6. The 3G network is slower and more people are on it, 4G is new* less congested and faster, I'm sure 4G caps will come once people move over and start hammering it. (speculation, guess work)
  7. I noticed that they were using alfa awus* cards a few episodes in to season one last year, only time until the pineapple showed up, be interesting to see if they ever use is for it's real purpose, it would fit in with the show nicely :)
  8. This week on POI our pineapple plays an RFID reader :D http://i.imgur.com/a36x3.png http://i.imgur.com/KWFW7.png http://i.imgur.com/w3ltJ.png http://i.imgur.com/feOUA.jpg
  9. Spotted the pineapple in Person of Interest season 2 episode 2, they also used what looked to be an alfa device hooked on the back of a laptop to highjack wifi :) Here is the pineapple - http://i.imgur.com/v9BaF.png They were using it in a scene to do with sniffing cell phone traffic, so not in the right context, but still nice to see writers have some idea about the devices we use XD
