  1. I haven't tried that but the devices that I am using on my home network remain connected and on the internet...no dropped packets at all. I will test that and see if I notice disconnected clients.
  2. No, there's no disconnection. I've tried multiple devices..phones, laptops, tablets, roku, and the AP itself. Is it like an instantaneous disconnect/reconnect? There isn't even a second of connectivity loss. Does the deauth only work with unsecured networks? I can't be sure that I've tried it on an unsecured network. I'll try it on an unsecured today. Anyhow man thanks for your help.
  3. I changed it from 5 packets to 20 for testing but it still doesn't work...:-/ 00:06:30 Sending 64 directed DeAuth. STMAC: [CC:6D:A0:0A:1A:71] [ 0| 0 ACKs] 00:06:31 Sending 64 directed DeAuth. 4. shouldn't that path be "/www/pineapple/urlsnarf.log" ? Anyhow is there a way to append the displayed list as opposed to over-writing it?
  5. i try the factory reset on the advanced tab and it says that "factory reset has been disabled on this version of the firmware. running MK1V 1.1.1
  6. Does anyone have any links to side jacking tools? I use to use Ferret and Hamster...last I knew they don't actively distribute that software anymore. If you go to the download page that the software is provided on and download it you find that there are no executables located in the bin folders..or in any folders. Also I have used Firesheep before but that is also no longer supported... Any links or ideas?
  7. My deauths don't seem to be working...is there anything else I need to do? Maybe I'm missing something. Interface looks great though, thank Whistle Master.
  8. Oh nvm...its all there on the advanced tab...I didn't go there cause im not advanced ;)
  9. does cache and log files get deleted everytime you power cycle your router? it there a script that will empty that?
  10. You're crazy Whistle Master! Next, could you make a module that makes modules? :)
  11. Oh and also...the "wireless" indicator stays green....
  12. this a duplicate topic....my phone screwed up and sent the request twice...sry
  13. No sir, I can't get my reset button to work either. I was asking for a good walkthrough on the flashing process. Let me get this straight....one MUST use a serial cable in order to flash?
  14. Has anyones pineapple randomly just stopped working? The interface stays up but it does not catch victims and the pineapple ssid is no longer displayed. Unplugging and plugging back in fixes it. Maybe it just gets overloaded with traffic? Admins that are on it often, have any similar issues? Fixes?

  16. It worked! I guess if it reaches the correct host it remembers and thus does need to be resolved again by the DNS server? Whatever reason this worked.
  17. http://hak5.org/hack/wifi-pineapple-flashing-guide Any update on the MarklV flashing guide video or picture walkthrough? I can't get my reset button to work.
  18. I was troubleshooting some urlsnarf and dnsspoof coding problems i waswas having and noticed something really weird. A carot key M was placed at the end of a lot of code that wasn't working. It might have been something I did but I am not sure how I managed that. Anyone else noticed this? I use the M lV and nano to edit.
  19. I have tried everything but my DNSSpoof just doesn't work. I even tried to change the landing page to "hello.html" which contains a "Hello World" script and I don't even get that. I've changed my DNS Spoof Host to "172.16.42.1 *" Is there a certain config file I should be looking at? It's like I don't even get to the index.php file. I know I could just reset it but I need to learn troubleshooting and would rather only flash if I have to. Thanks for any help. I have a new Mark IV. The DNS Spoof never worked correctly. It did this weird redirect loop(I've already read that in the forum). Now it just bypasses everything and goes to the actual page. The traffic is definitely going through my Pineapple. I have a urlsnarf tab that I setup to watch traffic.
  20. tru-tek, is there any good way to reduce the amount of clutter? (Ads and that sort of thing) This is cool though, I noticed if someone is on facebook and is viewing pictures...you can see them with out side-jacking or anything. Kinda creeperish huh?
  21. Here you go! No one will suspect a thing. ...You're Welcome.
  22. Can you post pictures of the working interface?
  23. You can just change the code in the "displaysnarflogs.php" file to this to hyperlink the urls..it's pretty convenient. foreach($output as $outputline) { $snarfed = explode(" ", $outputline); echo ("$snarfed[0]"); echo ("<a href=\"$snarfed[1]\"> $snarfed[1]</a>"); echo ("<br><br>"); } I know it's a small thing but it's the first thing I have been able to contribute so I'm glad I have been able to do something. Hak5 is great!
