  1. Hey guys! Just a curious question, would you consider hacking or DDOS'ing the Westboro Baptist Church's website, black hat hacking or white hat hacking? If you are not familiar, the Westboro Baptist Church is an EXTREMELY hateful little group in Topeka, Kansas. The group primarily attacks gays, and pretty much justifies everything they do through blaming gay people and America. They have protested hundreds of funerals of fallen soldiers and recently posted that they planed to attend the funerals of those who's lives were taken at the Sandy Hook tragedy (not sure if they actually went or not). I do know that "Anonymous", very recently, attacked their websites and twitter, posting the names, home adresses and phone numbers of those A**holes. What are your opinons on this? If you think its White hat hacking, what would your attack method be?

  2. Hey guys, I got my mk4 about about 2 months ago now and I was having some fun with it for a wile but then when I started getting rejected access no matter what method or browser I use to connect. I can NOT remember what the last thing I did that caused this was but I dont really remember it being anything different from what I was doing with it when it started locking me out (just rickrolling and neon-catting). On my pineapple the LAN lights(depending on which one im using), power light and connection lights all look on to me. Is there any suggestions I can try to possibly restore my pineapple or at least establish a connection with it again? more info: I do own a serial to usb connector, and I run my pineapple on my macbook pro running snow leopard. Thank you in advance(:

  3. Hey guys, Ive been reading up on some forum posts about the mk4 pineapple's power needs and battery packs but im not the best at calculating these things and I guess no one could be for sure on anything like this unless you tried it but how do you guys think this one would work? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005K7192G/ref=s9_simh_co_p422_d1_g107_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-1&pf_rd_r=0F1J3D8BQBFJTBXQF6WT&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=1280661682&pf_rd_i=typ01 and what do you think the estimated battery time would roughly be with the mk4? . Feel free to put any good battery packs that you know of for about $50 or less? put the links in the comments!

  4. If you own a UART cable I can walk you through it.

    I do not:/ but in my case im guessing ill have to buy one...could you provide me with a link to the one required, when searching I noticed several different types. then maybe next week of sometime when I get my hands on one I could direct message you about this matter? it would be greatly appreciated Mr. Protocol!

  5. Do not just use the MD5 given on the download page.

    I would encourage you to run md5sum (linux) or get a free Windows program to check the MD5 of the file and use the hash it supplies. That will avoid the brick and many headaches for you.

    If only I would have seen this before:(... i think my device is bricked, i cannot connect to it, at all, not even get the the control panel, access denied it says:( could you provide me with a link that would assist me in unbricking my pineapple?

  6. sorry for FLOODING the forums but ok heres the new issue; now my mk4 pineapple says wireless disabled. I have the newest firmware version (1.1.1), I have not changed anything since last time I booted up but yet no wireless? WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY PINEAPPLE? I am so sick of this erratic thing. note that I have a mac, and that it worked perfectly fine before these issues

  7. ok guys so i've just about had it with my pineapple, I guess its just a learning process. Heres the issue of the hour; I just updated my firmware recently and got a new RSA key, I scp'd the nyan cat info to my /www/ folder and it worked fine, when I start up karma it works but when starting dns spoof it just redirects me back to the status page. any suggestions?

  8. Try this, open your terminal then do;

    sudo vi /Users/cthockey16/.ssh/known_hosts

    Then arrow down to the line containing the pineapple's ip address, should be the second line. Type

    dd

    which should delete that line, then type

    :wq!

    which will write the new file and quit vi. If all else fails and you don't mind killing all your known hosts, just do a

    rm /Users/cthockey16/.ssh/known_hosts

    which will just delete the entire known_hosts file.

    got it thank you so much(:

  9. Try this, open your terminal then do;

    sudo vi /Users/cthockey16/.ssh/known_hosts

    Then arrow down to the line containing the pineapple's ip address, should be the second line. Type

    dd

    which should delete that line, then type

    :wq!

    which will write the new file and quit vi. If all else fails and you don't mind killing all your known hosts, just do a

    rm /Users/cthockey16/.ssh/known_hosts

    which will just delete the entire known_hosts file.

    if i decide to kill all known hosts how do I add myself as a host again?

  10. What does this mean? just upgraded firmware on my mk4 and still getting the gist of it.

  11. hey guys when I try to nyan cat or rick roll it only works on my computer (attacker computer) or when the target computer is connected to the Pineapple network. the pineapple is suppose to mimik any and all networks within range right? does this sound like how its suppose to work or is a setting in my wifi pineapple dashboard wrong? thanks in advance cheers.

  12. hey guys sorry to pile up the forums with another noob question (which seems almost daily now). I finally connected to my pineapple via ssh (in mac terminal) and dont get me wrong the pineapple seems like a great piece of equipment but, to me at least, it seems extremely under-documented. I wanted to know what exactly I do to dns spoof after the step in the screen shot provided below, I am NOT good with terminal commands and id much rather be using something more guie like but nothing seems to work, I really just want someone to explain HOW TO CONNECT VIA MAC or a tutorial on something dns spoofing, applet attack, rick rolling, ANYTHING on a mac please. SOMEONE SAVE MEEEE.

  13. SFTP will not work on the pineapple out of the box. drop bear doesn't support it, which is what the pineapple uses for ssh/scp. Search the forums, theres a thread about a sftp package you can download to the pineapple that might be right up your alley. Best thing to do would be to skip gui clients and use the terminal thats built into every mac - but I'm just that sorta guy

    telot

    thats what ive been told but I dont exactly know how to use the scp commands, could you please explain how to?(:
