  1. It would be quite an undertaking but could we modify squid to run on the pineapple? That would take care of updating the cache for you.. Obviously some work would be required to insert appropriate evil code in the cached content, but.. http://www.squid-cache.org/ The other approach would obviously be to run squid on a laptop and serve the cache through the pineapple.. probably easier

    Radar Jammer

Yep, just go to your kitchen, bring a hammer, bash your microwave door out, then mount the thing on your bumper facing backwards. Next you'll need a big inverter. When a cop starts following you, just kick that sucker on and nuke the radar gun :-D No, in all seriousness I do know that my state has gone to mostly Lidar, its also harder to question lidar because it was a laser pointed directly at your car, not a radar which could've picked up the car next to you.. Now, to interfere with Lidar... I would imagine all you'd have to do is find the wavelength that lidar uses and emit a lot of that wavelength... simple overload of the sensor should do the trick. Also this is all in fun, do NOT ever operate a microwave open, the first thing it will do is take out your eyesight as your eyes resonate near microwave frequencies.. Then life starts to really suck.
  3. You'd have to tear the CRT apart and replace the circuitry that makes it a vga (a monitor) with the electronics of a 'scope to actually get it to do that function well. Watch out for the hot side of the flyback/plate transformer and associated caps if you do pop it open, those could hold enough residual voltage to land you on your rear or worse! An oscilloscope has several time-based functions (a variable oscillator) which does the horizontal trace combined with a signal amplifier/buffer function which modulates the vertical direction. True scopes have a grid so one can actually calculate things like frequency based on the waveform displayed.. an experimental scope might not need that. I suspect it would be somewhat complicated to actually perform this conversion.
  4. I'm planning to use either a standard laptop case or a tall style lunch bag, either of which will blend in perfectly. Think about your target area and enclosures that would normally be spotted in such areas. Laptop case is so generic that you can go almost anywhere with it, same with a lunch bag. If you want it to look 'tacticool' you might consider something from maxpedition, blackhawk, etc.. but those really won't blend in if that's your goal.
  5. Might consider adding an attack timing adjustment. From what I understand, Reaver is an online attack where it must query the access point and brute-force the wpa key out of it. Some access points might be able to handle a faster query rate than others. Alternately an "Auto" setting might be handy and a script to actively adjust the attack rate to the max the AP will handle.. I must admit I don't know if this would work as I don't know if the AP issues any kind of ACK for an unsuccessful PIN attempt.. Just thinking!
  6. Just for reference I had to chmod Read capabilities on the site-survey files in order to access them from my browser. chmod go+r site-survey* did the trick for me.
