  1. I've been following the forums for a while now and have made little progress getting my Sierra 3G modem to connect. I took the latest advice and attached a powered hub to the device (all are on AC and not batteries) but I am still unable to get it to connect. Can someone point me in the right direction to decypher the connection string so I can try to get my 250U to connect?
  2. Does anyone know if a 3G/4G modem will work or if a 4G modem will work at 3G speed? I have two modems and I haven't been able to get either of them to work. One is a 4G Verizon USB551L and the other is a Sprint Sierra 250U 3G/4G modem. I sure don't want to go buy another modem if one of these will work. :( Guess I could post more info. ;) This is with the Sierra modem 00:55 user.info sysinit: Searching for attached 3G Modems 00:55 user.notice root: 3G: Connection Script here, searching for modems 00:57 user.info sysinit: 1d6b:0002 0424:2512 1199:0301 198f:0220 00:57 user.info sysinit: Beceem BCSM250 (Sprint) detected. 3. I found this post a while back and was wondering if it could be done with the MK4. http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pete/upside-down-ternet.html Also, whas wondering what else people do to mess with targets besides rickrolling.
  4. Yeah I saw that there were gui versions out there but I'm trying to get away from gui and hone my skillz on the command line. Plus that doesn't help me in the future on non-windows boxes. Appreciate the response though! :D
  5. I'm trying to use SCP to copy the files from a Windows 7 machine to the pineapple, in a SSH session but I constantly get "No such file or directory" messages. The folder is shared with Everyone having FC on both the share and the folder. I've tried admin@172.xx.xx.xx\share\*.*, \\172.xx.xx.xx\share\*.*, 172.xx.xx.xx/share/* and so on... Does anyone have any suggestions besides not using a Windows box?
  6. Looks like that fixed that issue. Now if I can just get the 3G card to work on it without ICS...
  7. I'll try that when I get home. The screen shots are from when I was only using 3G and had ics off.
  8. I'm still learning this so be kind. I updated to 1.0.1 but any device connecting to the pineapple still can't get to the internet. I have tried ICS and using two different usb air cards but no luck. The devices are getting IP addresses and can see the gateway but can't get beyond it. I do see that no IP is listed under the interfaces for USB 3G or LAN but I have that gateway address for the POE. Not sure what I am missing in my setup.
