  1. I have the power issues solved: :-) http://imageshack.us/a/img26/5632/20130224182733.jpg Got 5 ports for power (only needed 2) But I haven't been able to find a hub that can handle both an alpha and the 598u 3/4g usb stick. Telle I'm the only one who is using these devices simultaneously...
  2. Oh man. The module needs to have a second part. Where one can single out an ap like blacklister, but all in one module? <- blows his heimholtz resonator to call in whistlemaster...
  3. Yeah, I'm not too sure about that splitter. I seem to lose signal strength. Would like to play around with a powered hub so the pineapple isn't powering the alpha. Getting 2 pineapples, an alpha, and 3/4g modem w/sdcard to all coexist politely is NOT easy for me.
  4. This neinsager setup is good, but i cant fit that 18000mah battery in the pelican case, nor fo i have a usable usbhub yet... http://imageshack.us/a/img577/9961/20121219151722.jpg
  5. Who's got the hooks on a usable usbhub for use with the 598u ± 036nha? Man, I've been working on this for a year. http://imageshack.us/a/img29/3231/20130224011556.jpg I wanna get this all working @ the same time. Pleadr o please, please
  6. works great! first test reaped 41 victims. well done...and simple.
  7. Feeling somewhat lame for not clicking on that damn link before trying to download it. I've got the new encoder just now. Gonna tangle with it for a few. Wife has passed out upstairs finally. Perhaps I will get SOMETHING done, lol
  8. thank you very much for the reply. the file from that post is some webpage, with a .html.part extension. LOST The sd card should be fine as I can add/remove files from it when it's plugged into an sd reader. I do want to use a reader to put the inject.bin file onto the sd card, right? Then physically move sd card to ducky? I got that part, but I need to have something encoded first. I'm stuck there. GRRRRRRRR. I gave up anger for lent. Fucking bastards, lol. I'm being tested...... *****************EDIT****************************** Won't one of you type out the steps to use this thing? Is there a way to use windows? God forbid I boot into it, but I do keep a copy of xp on my netbook (mostly just for pr0n, lol)
  9. Ok, ok. Perhaps I bought something out of my league. I can't get past encoding a file to use. :( I remember watching Darren do a tutorial on replacing the Desktop with a screen-shot, but I can't find that same tut. I can find a video where he mentions, then quickly runs through that same trick. But I need to see when and WHERE these commands are being used. I did the 'svn checkout https://ducky-decode.googlecode.com/svn/ ducky-decode' . Do I want that on the sd card? Or just on my netbook? I did both, and while running the normal operation command sequence 'java -jar duckencoder.java -i MYFILETODECODE.txt -o inject.bin' I would get the "Unable to access jarfile duckencoder.jar" I've been working on this for two nights now. I've read tons, and have tried everything I've come across. The ./ doesn't do it. I think the file names have changed a little since these 'how-to's' and tuts were made? So, with that in mind, I did a little editing and changed the normal operation command sequence to "java -jar ./encoder.jar -i /root/brute_test.txt -o inject.bin" and I get this error: root@sandy:/media/FE9A-C406/ducky-decode/trunk/Encoder/v2# java -jar ./encoder.jar -i /root/brute_test.txt -o inject.bin Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Encoder : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0 at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:634) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:142) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(URLClassLoader.java:277) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$000(URLClassLoader.java:73) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:212) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:205) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:321) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:294) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:266) Could not find the main class: Encoder. Program will exit. Any ideas? Anyone? I know this can't be that difficult, I just ask WAY TOO many questions in my head sometimes, and it gets all garbled. Plus I have no formal training on ANY of this.
  10. Can I wear a tinfoil hat in mine? All this radio spectrum is garbling up my otherwise brilliant mind. <-scratches head. I'm gonna have to find a module that's terribly easy, like the wps button or something, lol
  11. I am genuinely interested in the outcome of a shielding attempt. I would have to agree with digip, it sounds quite logical. If it works, and works well, my wife is gonna flip when i do up a lab in the basement. "no honey, I'm not growing weed."
  12. <- Hides tinfoil hat. Ahem. What are you guys talking about? Oh, yes. Why can't this stuff happen to me? I get all the complex roadblocks. I even thought that perhaps you were my neighbor. When I moved in last year he was "Bitch_Please". So I pleased him alright. Favorite thing to do to him: crack wpa key and use it to name a soft ap using airdrop-ng. So only he knows that this strange ssid is his wpa key. I would be thrilled to take on this challenge. Sounds fun, but what do I know, eh? He could be something to contend with. I used to have the license plate: r00tm3, lol. I make crazy ssid's all the time to hopefully instigate a local attack. Even set up an internet facing honeynet to learn from live attacks. I recommend turning this into a learning experience. Think about how much you dislike this, and remember that when you are on the other side (attacking). Perhaps use a wifi card and airdrop-ng to attempt communicating with this hidden attacker. Pretty diverse group, hackers of all hats. But in my travels; most of them would love to share their information and possibly gain partner to play with.... ...try ego stroking. This will also tell you quite a bit about the person.
  13. If your a student, and have legitimate reason to use said network, then as long as you can communicate with the network you should be able to use it. Can you imagine a University stating "wifi connections are limited to use within 500 ft" or someshit? Wait, they've done way, way crazier, and non-logical requirements of their networks and policies. If you were to set up a rogue wifi ap, THEN I can see them being upset. But if they are broadcasting to your location, and you have legit credentials, fuck 'em.
  14. So you international travelers out there be warned that border patrol ie: DHS/TSA has been granted the power to go through "data on electronic devices" I am not sure of 2 things yet: 1) what does "random search of electronic data" mean? Can they get an image of your HDD? 2) can I put code which monitors logon attempts that erases my drive after backing up and sending out said back-up? What about warez that 'back-feeds' to the copier, effectively rendering their machine useless? *scratches head, "must find the answers. ALL the answers..." peep the link http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/02/government-watchdog-warrantless-laptop-searches-at-border-are-a-ok/
  15. use crunch and pipe the output to aircrack-ng for wpa key cracking... have fun, lol
  16. If I'm not mistaken PAtty uses a sniffed handshake capture to run a dictionary attack against, no? While reaver exploits some weaknesses in the WPS function of some of the ap's that are also running a wps service. NOT ALL routers that use wps are vulnerable to reaver. However, every handshake can be decrypted with the right tables....
  17. ok so Tyler, your link to the CP210x_VCP_Windows.zip file is broken, but I was able to aquire it through google and it has worked charmingly, thank you. However, now I am presented with a blank terminal screen. No options to choose from. I've checked and re-checked the UART wiring and it all seems fine; both @ the usb as well as @ the pineapple's board. I have followed the wiki @ cloud.wifipineapple.com to the mark. Didn't supply power to pineapple 'til after having the TFTP server started and pointing to correct DIR, putty serial session with correct parameters and Local Area Connection ip settings changed correctly as well. Any ideas? Anyone? I will begin testing by using diff USB ports on netbook. How is the netbook communicating with the pineapple? What with both the serial conn and the ethernet cable, I am confused a bit.
  18. Not to mention that any of those people in charge of setting the policies for 'who gets what' also have like $7,000 toilets in their private office bathrooms. $900 hammers and the like. So how did they do a roll call of employees to see 'who might be heading this way or that way'. "Maybe one of you could drop this off on your way home?" Gimme a break, Jon Q. Public Stand up. Fucking read something, do your own research...
  19. why not pineapples? http://stlouis.cbslo...r-wifi-testing/
  20. Please help me with these questions: 1) When using the CP2102 USB device from the hakShop, I only plug in 3 wires? -> GND, TX to RX, & RX to TX? no voltage(VDD?) damn thing has 5 wires. 2) I have a netbook (Acer Aspire one/winXP), and I have no COM1. I have under Ports (COM & LPT) in device mngr : a) RIM Virtual Serial Port v2 (COM6) B) RIM Virtual Serial Port v2 (COM7) that's it for ports. I've tried using COM1(with putty) in hopes that the system maybe mapped (I'm a tard sometimes) this virtual port to COM1? NOPE. So then I tried using the Universal Serial Bus controller (it had a listing for the CP2101). Perhaps I messed up when I let windowsXP find driver software automatically immediately after plugging in the CP2101? ps. if you think I'm not advanced enough. I want to know. I have MANY more questions. Most of which I can answer through research and study, I just want some ?'s answered right away. I'm gonna check the linux tut and see if that helps. I have btr5 as well, which I'm ok @ using. Preferred in most cases ;)
  21. Where, o where did the rootfs.bin and kernel.bin files go? I finally got the uart -> USB thingy from the hakShop and got the guts up to try to clean flash pineapple # 2. (I have had troubles connecting to this one damn near since I got it, and since snubs won't let me send it back then I gotta try something on my own) You see; I have 3 pineapples. #1 got burnt when learning about batteries :) but still works if I plug in the wall wart and wrap the excess cord around the device in order to create 'leverage' on the barrel plug. Great for testing @ home, and it was my fault it got burnt. Pineapple #2 just stopped responding to connection attempts. I've posted and posted about this to no avail. Pineapple #3 recently started doing the same thing as pineapple #2, just not as consistently. I would like to try flashing pineapple # 2 through serial in hopes that it remedies the problem. Then I will know I can fix pineapple #3. Problem is, the link @ cloud.wifipineapple.com for the rootfs and kernel.bin files is broken. It would be too sweet to have 2 completely functioning pineapples. I have gotten 'tango-mode' running but I have to use pineapple #2 as the 'piggy-back' one and disable it's wlan0. Then I have an alpha plugged in to it so it has at least one wifi interface to use. This is pretty cool if even just for research as I have learned alot by 'watching' traffic as I generate it. Anyway, enough babble. Can anyone point me to the kernel.bin and rootfs.bin files? Seb? can you email them to me? Mr. Protocol? Someone? ******************edit********************** Found the files, I think. Factoryfiles.tar? If this doesn't fix the connection error I'm sending these back snubs. I highly doubt I am the root of this problem. Considering it happened to 2 of mine. And many others have posted about this issue with no resolve. I've bought 3 plus a host of other items. I'm a good cust. I don't want my money back. Just a replacement. I'd even send 2 back to get one that works. I'm certainly not buying a 4th until I know they work right.
