  1. It is a shell script, so as long as ettercap or arpspoof and sslstrip is installed it shoud work. As long as the hardware is strong enough, else run it on the laptop where the pineapple is connected to.
  2. Cant wait for a firmware for that small box. Just did a quick measurement. When the Fonera is runnin it pulls an average of 500mAh from the batterypack. The TP-Link only need 150-200mAh, which means it should run twice the time on battery power compared to the fon. Not bad for "in-the-wild" operation.
  3. Just picked mine up from the customs today, this chinese seller forget to mention the actual value of this stuff, preventing the postal service to deliver it directly to me. Anyone already has an Pineapple Firmware for this little box?
  4. Wonder what you want to use ettercap for. If i recall it right ettercap was made for Arp Poisening attacks, but i dont think that they are neccessary because with the combination of Jasager and a laptop you already can capture all traffic between the internet and your victim associated to the Jasager AP.
  5. Did i see right that the MKIV and the WR703N share the same specs (except for Dual LAN,and teh WR only has 4MB Flash)? 400MHz, 32MB Ram and the AR9331 Wifi?
  6. Normally the traffic generated by devices like the iPhone or Android Smartphones should be encrypted with SSL (App's which need to Authenticate) or with TLS/SSL (Mail Applications). If you are lucky this devices dont use encryption, maybe because a mailserver does not support it or the developer of the app forgot to use encryption. If it is encrypted the Pineapple itself cant do anything about it. Only thing you can try then is to setup your Notebook to use tools like SSLstrip to force these devices to not use SSL, and to sniff the traffic with wireshark. Sometimes this works, sometimes not.
  7. Hi Sebkinne, do you think you might find some time to build a Kernel with working Swap and / nor NFS?
  8. Hi Sebkinne, i wait myself now for such a small box to arrive from China. I can tell you that the Board ist based an an Atheros AR7240 Chipset with an integreated AR9331 Wifi Nic. CPU = 400MHz, 4MB Flash and 32MB Ram.
  9. This thing really looks interesting, question is if Jasager works with the included wifi. Else the Hardware looks good, 400MHz Atheros SoC, 32MB Ram, USB Port for external Storage / Swap. Edit: Okay i ordered such a piece of Hardware in Hong Kong for only 22€. Now i only have to wait. In the time till it gets deliverd i will play with my old fonery, see if i get it running.
  10. Maybe you mixed it up in the Mac OS connection sharing? Maybe i have time to try this myself tonight.
  11. The wp3.sh wont work with OSX, because it is Linux exclusive. What you will have to do is to connect the Pineapple to your Ethernet Port making sure the port is set to the right IP Range to communicate with the Pineapple. Then you should go to your Mac's Systemconfiguration under Sharing -> Internet Sharing and configure so that the pineapple is able to Route traffic to the Internet. You can test this with a simple Ping from the Pineapples console. That should it be, althought i haven't tested it because i use the Pineapple together with a MSI Wind and not with my MacBook.
  12. That would be absolutely great. Very important is to have Swap support and NFS working and ConfigFS compiled into the Kernel.
  13. Flashed it on my Fon, no problems. Exept for the URL Snarf crash.
  14. Maybe i will try to compile an new Kernel for my FON based on the current OpenWRT trunk, where things like Swap, NFS etc. Problem is that i first have to learn it, because i have never done that before, but i think the Openwrt Wiki will be really helpfull. I just cant figure out why URLsnarf crashes my Fon, the CPU is as fast (or in my slower) then in the fon. I just dont know if it is a Ram issue, when ich free up Ram in my fon up to 3,5MB it also crashes. @Mr-Protocol: Could you please post the output of the free command from your AP51, before and after you started URLSnarf?
  15. Okay i did some test's with my old fon to hunt down why Urlsnarf is not working. The problem for me is that i cannot enable swap because neither theq nfs client nor kmod-mmc-over-gpio is working because of the Kernel config and mounting a cifs share make the fon crash. So no swap for me at this point. What i did is i free'd up some Ram by dropping the cahces so that i have 3meg of free Ram. That didnt do it the fon still crashes. Then i overvlocked the CPU to 200 and then to 220 Mhz. Unfortunately no change. Could anybody post a cat /proc/cpuinfo of the Alfa AP51? @Sebkinne: could you please compile configfs ( for swap on mmc/sd), swap support (maybe this is already in) and nfs client support into the Pineapple Kernel? Configfs aand the nfs client is already working in theq latest OpenWrt trunk but that one is missing Swap support and of course all the Pineapple magic ;) Also what i have seen is that the Fonera work with faster response on the trunk Kernel.
