  1. I have a similar problem. I used Windows 7 and followed instructions exactly but address "http://172.16.42.1/pineapple" failed to load in browser. Then I opened a command prompt to ping 172.16.42.42 and 172.16.42.1 This is what I got: ------------------------------------------------------------ C:\Users\kenner>ping 172.16.42.42 Pinging 172.16.42.42 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 172.16.42.42: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 172.16.42.42: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 172.16.42.42: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 172.16.42.42: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Ping statistics for 172.16.42.42: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms C:\Users\kenner>ping 172.16.42.1 Pinging 172.16.42.1 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 172.16.42.42: Destination host unreachable.
