Hi,
Maybe you can help, I am trying to get my 3g dongle (uk sim/) to work MK IV.
I have the following:
sim: Vodafone UK
3g dongle: Zoom 4595
Mk iv – firmware version 2.0.0
In web ui, Under USB :
lsusb output:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1c9e:9603 OMEGA TECHNOLOGY
SSH & try running the following:
root@Pineapple:~# rmmod usbserial
root@Pineapple:~# insmod usbserial vendor=0x1c9e product=0x9603
root@Pineapple:~# comgt -x -d /dev/ttyUSB0
High speed overide (115200 is now 57600).
***SIM ERROR***
Check device port configuration.
Check SIM is inserted
Test SIM in a mobile phone?
root@Pineapple:~#
Any ideas what this means/could be or what I am doing wrong?
Looking around I found this link:
https://github.com/sebkinne/wifipineapple/wiki/3G-Modem
and noticed …According to Darren the following list is also supported but untested: link
http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/device_reference.txt
I did a search for my vendor=0x1c9e & product=0x9603, and found this:
