i haven't got time to play with it in the last two weeks. I will try to flash it and let you know the result.

i did assign the IP 172.16.42.42 on the PC but couldn't access http://172.16.42.1/pineapple. Also i don't see any wifi network being broadcast from the pineapple. Correct me if i'm wrong but at least i should see the pineapple wireless network. In this case i can't access to it at all. Is there any indicator to check if it's not a defect one?

anyone has any advice? i want to return this if it doesn't work. I don't pay $99 for a brick!!!

It's exactly the same problem i have. I received the Pineapple yesterday but couldn't connect to it either via wired or wireless connection ( don't see the Pineapple SSID). I'm wondering what could be done now? Can i return the defect pineapple?

i received my Pineapple Mark 3 today. I was so excited to test it but when i turned it on and connect to my PC via wired connection, i couldn't get any IP address from the pineapple. I also tried to connect to it by wireless connection but i couldn't see any Pineapple access point when i search for wireless network. Is my pineapple is a defect one? What should I do now? Please advise!
