  1. I had problems with running sslstrip until i got a powered hub and setup the USB / SWAP setup correctly.
  2. Maybe I should clarify... The pineapple in the picture is mine, it was on the HAK5 table for display as an idea for possibilities along with the wall mount box digininja mentioned. I went over to the NSA booth and left the pineapple on the table and snapped a picture...you know have a little fun at the NSA guys expense <_< As a side note several of the talks about the NSA were pretty good, check them out when they are posted online if you missed them.
  3. A MK3 hidden in a WD world case was spotted on the NSA's table at DEFCON..... This is the same MK3 that was on the HAK5 table if you were at DEFCON 20. I had a blast this year at DEFCON, and seeing the other pineapples running karma was a lot of fun =)
  4. I picked this USB hub up pretty cheap from my local computer store and it works perfectly right out of the box. No need to cut any wires because it does not back feed the pineapple. http://www.iogear.com/product/GUH274/ As a bonus its pretty small and makes it easy to bundle all together, only slight complaint is the length of the pigtail that connects to the pineapple is a little short. 13 bucks on tiger direct : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=578200 ~itsm0ld
  5. One of the main reasons I actually am ok with using a USB hub it keeps my USB devices cooler. I use a 4G T mobile dongle and it gets over 120 degrees F plugged directly into the pineapple. I also have the 8GB fit (on sale at best buy for 5.99) and use it and the 4G dongle / second wifi adapter in the HUB and it keeps the T mobile adapter at 88-90 degrees. Note that I live in Arizona so the ambient temp in the location the pineapple sits is on average about 80 degrees.
  6. I have been thinking about doing this! I cant see the video yet but If we can do part of this with a MK3 that would be great since I have a few MK3's not getting any love now that the MK4 is in the house =)
  7. I can confirm that this worked out of the box on my MK4 with a TP-LINK TL-WN722N. This thread is an example of an epic win for the new player nice job! EDIT: MK4 running 2.4.1 Karma functions normally.
  8. LOL funny you should mention mojohelpdesk we have used it in the past and it was truly horrible.....I had 1 star lol....
  9. Yea that's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the boat! I cant wait to play with one, barry what kind did you get?
  10. It would if you had it on and it was not configured, just wanted to make sure the obvious was covered.
  11. Just asking the obvious question you are not enabling DNS spoofing in the web interface right?
  12. Do they have fully assembled raspberry pi available? I only see the unfinished PCB boards? I have a few stealth pineapples but adding Rpi would be awesome!
  13. I was very interested in your post so I started testing batteries and tried a 9v and it didnt work well at all....what type of 9v did you use? Here is a link to my post: Battery run times
  14. I have been playing around with several types of rechargeable batteries and run time. Below is what I have tested so far, I will update as I try more types / brands. In order from best to worst: 1) 4 Hours 10 minutes - Duracell DC1500 2450 mAh - $10.20 - Amazon Link **Pic says 2650 but it has been changed to 2450 by Duracell** 2) 3 Hours 40 Minutes - Energizer NH15 2300 mAh - $11.16 - Amazon Link 3) 2 Hours 35 Minutes - Kirkland AA Alkaline - $1.20 - Amazon Link 4) 20 Minutes - Rayovac 6LF22 Alkaline - $3.54 - Amazon Link I read another post about using a 9v battery. I don't typically use rechargeable 9v batteries so I just tried a regular alkaline I had. Note all tests run with ambient temp of 73 degrees with Ethernet connected and WiFi+Karma running.
  15. I'm sure we have all done this from time to time, I know I have :) glad you got it working!
  16. Thanks for the response guys, I am making a list of packages to try. I really need just basic features: Open ticked via email Track ticket progress Basic reporting, close time, response time, etc Different levels of user, tech, admin, user As you can see its a very basic set of requirements, almost everything fits the bill but as you know it can be hard to zero in on the best choices.
  17. I can confirm that it does run off USB power.
  18. Do you have another wireless device you can try? Something strange is going look at the DHCP server its listed as 255.255.255.255. I have only had that be correct on PPP connections...
  19. Just giving an alternative to a total re-flash and the questions that have come up over how to do it. If you can get to your pineapple and just want to add the feature or secure more than just the /pineapple page this is how it can be done.
  20. Yep! -Your MITM stuff should all still work like it is as long as you do the mon mode stuff on the alpha -airodump-ng will show you only the BSSID for AP's in range so it wont help you get all the BSSID's from all the clients -deauth away!
  21. Ack just realized I have a typo in the code section.. I have updated the post but the problem line was nano /etc/config/uhhtp Should have been: nano /etc/config/uhttp That should do it let me know!
