  1. Recently Darren was on a show and mentioned an Android browser that he has been using. It strips off images and such, but leaves CSS, etc. and supposedly provides a quicker and less data intensive browsing experience. I don't remember which show he was on where this was mentioned. Does anyone have any idea which browser this is? Thanks!
  2. Flight Aware is really cool. I use it to track flights when friends and family are flying. I also used it to look up the N number of the plane that showed up on the recent episode!
  3. Excellent! Thanks for the suggestions... I will be ordering one shortly!!
  4. So, I really wanted to buy this during the holiday special and wasn't able to. Now that it's back in the HakShop, they are sold out. Anyone have any suggestions where to get one in the US? I was looking at this: http://www.amazon.com/Vantech-RTL2832U-DIGITAL-Receiver-RTL-SDR/dp/B00D8FIYZ2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1391942236&sr=8-2&keywords=rtl2832u Thoughts?
  5. Looking for something like this? http://www.reddit.com/r/darknetplan/
  6. I want to go to conferences just so I can talk to some of those guys!
  7. My favorite are firetide, but they aren't cheap. As seb indicated, look at equipment that supports mesh networking. If you want cheap (but very good for the price imho) equipment for "point to point" or "point to multi-point," check out the Ubiquiti NanoBridge.
  8. These looks like questions from a test. There is not enough info for anyone to help you. You are missing a data table or something. Hence why no one had replied...
  9. You are correct sir. Haha... my bad
  10. Just to add to what Foxtrot was saying: lo = loopback = 127.0.0.1= ::1 There's no place like home. :) http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/5d6a/
  11. To back them up, you should use Handbrake. It's the best free application out there imho. I haven't burned a new disk in quite a while, so I can't help you there.
  12. When the pineapple was first introduced 5 years ago, I thought that it was a really dumb name. Pineapple? Really? Who names an access point or anything for that matter a pineapple? However now, as with everything else, I couldn't think of a better name! Haha... Branding at its best. :)
  13. I did the same thing at first newbi3... Glad I'm not the only one... :)
  14. I don't know about the battery. I haven't ordered the elite bundle. Yes you have to drill the holes yourself. To do so, find a bit that is the size of the pigtail extension connector, but smaller than the nut that will secure the connector to the case. Then decide where you want the antennas to be located and drill the holes there. Connect and have fun!
  15. I will personally be going with an ultrabook eventually. Like the Acer that snubs had on the most recent threatwire episode. It will just be a better fit for me.
  16. I just put Kali on my Aspire One. I had an extra SSD laying around so I put that in it. If you can find one cheap, I'd say go for it. I'm having some issues with the size personally. Its really small screen size makes it difficult to run multiple shells at once. And I fat finger the keys a lot.
  17. I watched the video today and that framework was quite impressive. Thanks for the heads up on it!
  18. They made it. The Hak5 crew had a packing party last night that they live streamed. You can watch all 6+ hrs on YouTube if you so desire.
  19. Just connect to the pineapple ssid. You will get a dhcp lease. Then navigate to 172.16.42.1:1471 and go from there. Make sure to follow the startup flashing instructions explicitly. Give 5-10 minutes before attempting to play!
  20. Wi-Spy is fantastic. I wish I could have kept mine from my last company.
  21. Glad you like it! Hopefully I will be able to get into it soon! :)
  22. I have the same issues with Chrome on Android. Note 2 and S4.
  23. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the update Darren. And thanks for doing what you can to get us the MKV ASAP!
