    Lanschool v7.2

way to bring back a dead thread... and FYI, the developers are aware of this conversation and have been following it closely. So, all of those things discussed here, have been addressed in more recent builds and have been patched.
  2. O&O Defrag 2000 FREE works great for normal defraging... when I tried their full product I was happy with it, just didn't really find a real need for it myself, so the free version is good enough for me.
  3. I swear, the way your "questions" are worded, I Think you are going to teach me how to do (fill in the blank)... yet every time I click on a topic started by you, it is a question. Point: Instead of saying "How to view a myspace private profile" Ask: "How can I view a private myspace profile?" Extra Point: Think of how you want to say it. Either English is not your primary language, or you need to go back to school and learn proper English before interacting with others. The difference: The way you state it, it is presented as if you know how and are teaching someone else how to do it. The way I rephrased it for you, actually is asking how to do the deed. That said, no, we won't help you hack a myspace/email/IM account. We are not here to do that.
  4. this is a prime example of knowing who is posting... and the kind of crap that he/she usually posts. So I simply refuse to click any links offered by a select bunch of users here because I know its usually bull.
  5. Its called photsynth http://photosynth.net/
  6. first and foremost, it doesn't matter what name is there, what matters is the fact that you are helping a great cause. Second, the team was setup and run by another user and decided to rename it on his own. While MintIRC is welcoming to the name change, it doesn't matter if we have a folding team or not. Thirdly, you or anyone else could do just like the user had done... create a new team and have it promoted as you see fit. Lastly, its not a "disgruntled member" of IRC. The user just decided to rename it at least 3 or 4 months ago, if not longer.
  7. With SMF there were plugins that helped prevent spam... alas this forum is running on IPB and doesn't have such a plugin.
  8. If you are going to advertise that you are going to pay someone, then you had better be prepared to pay someone. Otherwise, just say "I need help with ..." So I say you owe each of us who responded to you... even if it was no real help.
  9. meh... I was going to post a sly remark... but I'll refrain myself from doing so and simply comment: Good luck on trying to get their attention.
  10. as Psychosis said, your best bet is to go to the sources listed at the bottom of a wikipedia page and draw your conclusions from that. Use wikipedia as one of the avenues to do research, but don't steal or quote from wikipedia directly. Even with their new system, colleges and schools will still refuse to accept its credibility in most cases.
  11. so since you have been provided with the answer, you owe us our fees.... You promised. We are not cheap. I demand a payment of $50.00 USD per reply, payable to Manuel at mintirc dot net . Including this reply, which makes #33, you owe $1650.00 USD
  12. to the OP... if you are from the UK as you say you are, you make American English look like it is proper language... and we all know its not "proper English". Kid, go back to school and learn how to use proper language skills to communicate with others before returning.
  13. Well, basically as a chanop who is strongly opinionated, rough and tough, you do what you feel is best to manage the channel. my suggestion is if you feel that you need to talk, pm a chanop and ask for voice so you can actually talk... be nice about it and not demanding. I know I personally hate it when that occurs and ignore the user or simply tell them no when they are demanding. Before we got SpamServ, we used to resort to moderation on a regular basis for handling issues. In some occasions we still use moderation, but that is rare now. -Manuel
  14. First, Chris Pirillo has nothing to do with hak5 or MintIRC. Second, what exactly are you wanting to accomplish with this post? Lastly, if they were on MintIRC, we have network services that take care of and manage spammers :) along with a great Channel staff and network staff. -Manuel
  15. Scr3wU2^b!t(h@hak5* was one of my passwords
  16. What's that Lassy? Timmy screwed up his linux install?!??!!? Lets call out the Calvary to go help him!
  17. aggressive, no... blunt, yes.
  18. no el speako your languageo dude-o ... as suggested, please use a better translation tool such as http://google.com/translate and Shannon, don't take this the wrong way, but kindly stfu. I was told once by you how rude I was to newcommers, and IMHO your comment was more rude than I ever have been.
  19. and no... chances are its either a. part of an easter egg, or b. Darren's poor attempt at acting.
  20. Dev.5 was an attempt to put the point back into hak5 -- we were going to be the brainchild behind hak5, but as with everything hak5 touches, it faded.
  21. More so... It's not likely that you can "build" a replacement. You may have to purchase one.
  22. redxine: Not all Public School IT admins are stupid. Yes we are underpaid, but it doesn't mean that we don't know what we are doing anf that we don't do our job. hawksprite: Its against the forum rules to even ask. If you, the O.P., and the rest of the kids would learn to read, you'd have known that. goodbye.
  23. Nobody is forcing you to watch the show.
