  1. Hey grantm, I'm yet to try with the 3G/4G usb sticks, i can only assume that if they work with OpenWRT it should work, have a look at telstra, they atleast show you the model number of the devices they are using, which may help. I might be able to get my hands on a few to test with so if i get them and they work i will post some details.
  2. I am also interested in this scenario, Would be perfect to have as a dip switch config as you mentioned.
  3. Hi chriswhat, i am not able to get this working using my details on the autossh config file, any ideas? it works only if i have one option set, either ssh or web ui.
  4. Thanks Guys :) using wlan1 as client and now my usb Realtek RTL8187 for wlan2
  5. for example running reaver, which is using wlan1, I can not connect to another network using wlan0 as it is not supported in client mode, so the 3rd card allows me to still connect to the Wifi Pineapple on my network rather than using direct Ethernet. i'm using a Macbook air with a usb ethernet adapter and its just giving me some problems, so would like to connect to it via my home network.
  6. Hi Everyone, I just got my new mark V with the elite bundle this week, and already having lots of fun and will be playing with my new toy more over the weekend. This is my first WiFi Pineapple as I didn't end up getting a fon. What I would do is connect my Ralink Rt3072 directly and use that in client mode to connect to a network to provide an Internet connection and remote access. How can I enable wlan2 to show in the network tab on the web interface and use it in client mode? Thank you.
  7. forget the Asus device i jumped the gun on this one, its not supported by openwrt
  8. hey has anyone had any luck on other devices. i was looking at this little thing http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/asus/wl-330n3g
  9. Thanks wezyapl. What is the max amps can the fon input. I found another one Which is 5V/2A http://www.dealextreme.com/p/usb-rechargeable-6000mah-emergency-power-battery-pack-w-led-usb-micro-usb-adapters-black-72662 And thanks undefined yes a little expensive but sorta worth it for 12 hours of fun but I am leaning towards the cheaper side :). Did you need to limit the current at all or did you just slapped on the plug and that was it?
  10. Hey guys so i am new to the forum but i have been watching for a while now. So i am looking to making my own Wifi Pineapple and i will be getting a fon 2100 very shortly, and i have been looking for a Li-ion battery to power it on the go. the Idea is to take apart the fon 2100 housing and putting it in a project box for a nice little case "mod" and to also fit the battery in as well. also i want to be able to recharge the battery via USB. my question is would one of these Rechargeable USB Emergency Power devices do the trick, will it be enough to power the fon 2100, so these seem great. just an example would be here http://www.dealextreme.com/p/rechargeable-usb-emergency-power-backup-pack-2400mah-3060. and if its not enough power, would maybe an iPad backup battery do the trick as they do require at least 10w to charge. give me your suggestions cheers :)
