  1. I have tried looking this up myself but I can't find any reason this is happening. For some reason my MK3 becomes un-responsive after 10-15min time. I know that a lot of people are having this problem, but it looks like for everyone else, it's caused by ngreps log becoming to large. In my case I do not have ngrep running but my box still times out. Also, when I look at the web-logs, there is not a great deal of traffic, actually almost none. (This is expected because I am the only one connected to the MK3 with my phone and am not generating traffic at the time.) Has anyone else had this happen to them?
  2. Is there a way to not only store the username and password but also send it at the same time. Basically, is there a way to set it up so that when the "targets" go to the fake webpage and put in their user information, the information then saves to the computer, then also inputs the UN and PW into the correct fields on the real web-page, thus limiting the chance of the target knowing he was on a fake site.
  3. Awesome, Thanks for your help. That is what I was looking for!
  4. I am confused on how the Interface and the MKII handle phishing. I do understand that when you activate the DNS spoofing function, it takes any of the websites from the config file and then re-routes them to the website from the 'landing page' What I dont understand is how to make individual files for each site (twitter, fb, gmail, etc), and have them grab the information put in by the visitor of the site. I also dont understand how to redirect the user back to the orig website after they hit enter.
  5. disregard my last post. I somehow got it all working. I had to SSH into the box, and I completely deleted and re-wrote the ngrep file. Then I deleted to empty log from the tmp directory, restarted and it worked perfectly. This post helped a lot. Thank you sir
  6. So I think that I found out what was wrong in my situation. For some reason, when I connected to the MK3 my wireless connection would drop and I would have to reconnect. I didnt notice this happening because in the Network manager in BT5 only shows one valid connection at a time, and in my case it just shows the wired connection.
  7. Thanks for all your help gentlemen. Im not sure what happened, but when I rebooted and tried it all again, it worked like a charm. :) Thanks for your quick responses. -Matt
  8. It does make what the settings mean clearer, but I dont think that I have it set up right then but Im not sure where the problem lies. Currently I have these settings selected for the MK3: Pineapple Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Pineapple Network: 172.16.42.0/24 Interface between PC and Pineapple: eth0 Interface between PC and Internet: wlan0 Internet Gateway: 192.168.1.1 IP of Host PC: 172.16.42.42 IP of Pineapple: 172.16.42.1 The Settings that I have for my network Interfaces are: eth0 inet addr: 172.16.42.42 bcast: 172.16.42.255 Mask: 255.255.255.0 wlan0 inet addr: 192.168.1.109 bcast: 192.168.1.255 Mask: 255.255.255.0 Finally the address of my home router is 192.168.1.1 Is there something that I am missing in the settings?
  9. I did, and when I typed in that code, entered all the prompts (kept them at default), and started Karma from the interface, I still could not access the internet from other computers through the MK3 Where I guess that I am confused is this part: Its default gateway is set as 172.16.42.42. This means the WiFi Pineapple is looking for an Internet connection from the device with the IP address of 172.16.42.42. Should I be changing this to my IP address assigned to me by my wireless router?
  10. I did not see a topic on this already, nor did I really see this question in any of the other topics. Im am having a problem sharing the internet connections between my fake network from my MK3 and my actual wireless network. When I connect to my fake network from another computer, I can not access the internet. Am I suppose to be turning something other than Karma to get this to work? Thank You for your help as always.
  11. Thanks for the notes. I was able to get to the portion where you have but when I try and goto 192.168.169.169:1471 my browser times out and wont let me connect. At this point I have completed everything above this, I am connect to my home network on WLAN0 and connected to the FON+ through eth0. The cable is going from my laptop to the WAN port on the router. I have also tried connecting it to the LAN port instead but I get the same results... (The browser just sits there then times out)
  12. Sorry to post what is probably a really stupid question, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to do this. I am trying to set up my Fon+ so that the settings are as follows: Internet > Router > (wireless connection)Laptop > (ethernet connection) Fon+ > (Wireless Connection) "Victims" For some reason my "Victims", being in my case my cellphone, can not connect outside and I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Would someone please be able to help me with this either by showing me where I can find a guide or by looking at my config files. I can post what ever you would need to look at. Currently my home router with access to the internet has an ip of 192.168.1.1 My laptop has an IP of 192.168.1.109 My Fon+ router has an IP of 10.110.0.2 after following the guide pinned to the boards. Also, per the guides instruction, my "/etc/config/dhcp" file looks like this on my FON+ Finally, I also changed the LAN setting from "/cgi-bin/webif/network.sh" as per the guide: After all is said and done, when I try and connect as a victim, the internet just times out and nothing happens.... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
  13. I was wondering that for the Pineapple Mark III, are you able to use the Fon or Fon+ or do you need to use the new hardware? Also, is there some sort of guide for making one start to finish? I can not find anything on the wiki like stated in the recent episode. Thanks for your help and response guys!
  14. Is there a way to view the Log from Karma and Jasager in realtime either through telnet or through ssh? Thanks
  15. I am following the directions as layed out on: http://hak5.org/hack/wifi-pineapple-flashing-guide and everything seems to work but when I try and either do the steps to Auto-Rick Roll or the steps from the most recent episode where you Phish FB and Twitter, it seems that I can no longer connect to the router and it doesnt appear as a wireless network. Can someone please give me some suggestions to fix this problem. Thanks!
