Having issues with updating Java 7 in Ubuntu.
At the terminal I have typed the following commands...
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer
sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-7-oracle
Seems to be an issue with webupd8team.
Tried this several times.
Anyone else having an issue with this?
I am using version 12.04 Ubuntu at the moment.
Should I try another repository (ppa)?
Or should I try tar.gz file?
Thanks!
Saw a Chrome OS netbook recently. Thinking of buying one.
Anyone bought one and what do you think of Chrome OS?
Pros? Cons?
Would really like to hear from members here on their thoughts on this.
Thanks for posting that link.
Right now I've got Ubuntu 11.10 on my Asus eee PC.
Really like Ubuntu.
Problem is the keyboard on my Asus ee PC is dang small! LOL
Also try K-Lite Codec Pack. It's very good. I was having problems with the VLC player and after I used the player that comes with the K-Lite Codec Pack, the problems seemed to vanish. Good Luck to you. :)

Perhaps you might find the manual there. I noticed they listed some manuals from OMNI. Good luck!
