Just run HotSpot Shield, and it works.
But it doesn't work with one single FireFox window, so you can't seperate it.

thank you very very much hobbit. It works vperfect for me. Now I can update firefox. How can I connect to Pandora outside USA? I use proxys and proxy sel (in firefox) and it works when I find some good proxy. but sometimes the proxys work very bad (incomplete songs, bad connection,...) If somebody use a better way to connect to Pandora outside of USA please tell me. Thank you

I keep getting MP3's with 64 kbps, has Pandora started using that? :(.
Although, I don't hear the difference. Maybe it's fake?

This is not working for me, I think because I already am behind a proxy (HotSpotShield).

Fiddler is an http proxy for debugging http traffic - even SSL traffic. It supports plugins written in .net. You can download it from www.fiddler2.com
I have written a plugin for fiddler2 that does the following:
* watches traffic to pandora for xml documents describing a playlist and remembers audio url and id3 info
* watches for requests to a known audio url and saves the recorded response as .mp4
* runs faad to convert the mp4 to wav
* runs lame to convert the wav to mp3
* inserts an id3 tag in the mp3 with artist, album, title, and covert art image
* deletes the 2 temp files (mp4 and wav)
Also it:
* watches for requests to pandora.com/ and injects a meta-refresh right into the source of the page to force it to reload periodically so it won't stop playing.
To run, copy the dll and 2 audio conversion exe's into the fiddler scripts directory and start fiddler, then start ANY browser (IE is automatically hooked by fiddler) and my fiddler plugin will start capturing music to the folder of your choice.
This method for timeshifting doesn't rely of flash or browser or caching or any other miscellaneous technology. It watches everything going by and saves the music. Apparently I can't upload zip files here and I'm not going to host it myself, but if you want the source code, drop me a pm.
Am I misreading it, or did you just forget to put the url to your plugin?

I've been using Pandora for a long time, and I used to have a working PandoraFox, which included all the necessities to rip songs fast and easy. It had a custom Firefox Portable and Pandora's Jar. Is there a quick and easy solution available like PandoraFox? Thanks.
I tought that too for a while, but now I use the standalone of Pandora's Jar, and that's by far the easiest setup.

Ok, i see the lack of response after 5 days and come to the conclusion that none of you know whats going on either. I would really REALLY apreciate it if youd help me.
Yeah, I've asked for that too, but I think it's impossible (at least it is when you use Quickmix).

1 - is there a manual "backup" button?
2 - it seems the format for the files is M4a - is there a way to change this or does anyone else have this issue?

Pandora has changed from mp3 to m4a, there's no way to change that.
I'd also like to see a manual backup button.

It's working great!
I have only two questions.
1. Could you enable that you can select the download folder manually?
[edit]If the ripper is able to get the Album name and artist name, why doesn't it fill it in the tags?[/edit]
2. The MP3 came in like this:
Song name - Album name ~ Artist name
Maybe you like it like that, which I can understand, but I like it like this:
Artist Name - Song Name
Could you please enable that too?

I have been using this version of Pandaora's Jar: hxxp: forums. hak5. org/index. php?topic=6014. 0;wap2 and it has been working great. I have one question though. I use a Zune for my mp3 player and in order to get my pandora songs on it I have to open the songs in iTunes and add an album name. Pnadora shows the album name. I am not a code writer but am hoping there is a way for Pandora's Jar to grab the album name as well to save me the step? Is this possible?

So the folder.jpg keeps changing with every rip.
Which folder layout type do you have selected? Are the files all in one dir? And what OS are you running?
BTW regardless of the single jpg changing, each song should still have the correct album art tagged to it.
I chose ArtistAlbumArtist - Title.mp3, and all the files were at my desktop in the PandoraRip folder (You should add an option to choose the download folder ;) ). I'm running on Windows XP.
