    Well it is running as a virtual machine in proxmox with wired networking and I set it up the network card to virtio. When i do ifconfig it only shows "lo" interface. I did the ifconfig eth0 up and it showed eth0 as an interface but with no ip address listed.

    I have been using proxmox for the past week and it let me upload up to 3GB ISO's. It gave me errors after 3.

    So my friends and I set up a couple proxmox servers to test servers and practice hacks and such. But I want to create a virtual machine of Backtrack 4. I created one with virtio network card and it can't see it. I am unfamiliar with backtrack so maybe I just don't know how to set up networking in Backtrack. Any and all help or ideas are appreciated.
