I just want to point out that for the same money you can have a EEEpc with many more functions than an iPhone... Okay, you have a point there with the macbook air and the lenovo x300, but a phone is a phone. And what can u do with a phone? Oh yeah, make a call and sending a SMS. But wait, the iPhone is more than that, it's also and mp3, and so on and so on. If you've red maddox his article you would see that he's right and that the iPhone is a piece of shit. But hey, I respect your choise if you think that an iPhone is THE mobile phone as long as you respect my choise that I find that the iPhone sucks. -_- It's just a matter of time before people are going to introduce iPhone icons etc in forums etc.

Installed it today on my windows box, it's a lot better then firefox and you know why? : LOW CPU USAGE :) although I'm keeping firefox on ubuntu.

okay, apparently the big dormitory is full. But we still can get a XL apartment which is for 8 persons for 160€/night or if we're with 10 we could take the XXL apartment for 180€/night. But if we would like to be closer to the centre and if we're still with 8 people we could take the baxpax down town hostel which is very close to the centre. So I'm willing to replace the deadline for subscriptions to the 15th of July so that we definitely can book and that I certainly have booked something around the 20th July. Okay, I had this problem that I couldn't mount my external (ntfs formatted) HD in ubuntu. The error message said that it was still running and that I had 2 options: Or safely remove the hardware under windows, or forced mount. I first tried the forced mount, but no result. The I plugged it in into a windows pc and I safely removed the hardware. I plugged it in into ubuntu again and it mounted. Now here's my question: Is it possible to do this under ubuntu without plugging it into a windows pc or without using a virtual machine?

They could limit/close your traffic to a certain site. But then again: IT WON'T HAPPEN, just maybe a coupple of ISP's but think about it, when all ISP are going to do this their just have to be one man to launch his own ISP withouth restrictions and he would then be doing good bussiness caus all the other ISP are restricting their users to certain sites. You see?
