Did you make sure that you should press a boot menu button where you can choose to boot from usb. Also, if the usb install wont work, just try to install from a cd.

Well it works, but it makes a strange sound when I keep it plugged in.. So Im just going to get an right adapter... So my old pc/latop (its to heavy to call it a laptop:P ) can work again ^_^

Hi, I just encountered a problem, my adaptor is broken so I was wondering if I could hook up an 10volt adaptor with 600mA with the laptop. The original adaptor is an 12V with 2.2A.

I would be interested, Birmingham is 6,5 h of traveling from my home with the train so I think I would make it. Keep in mind that organizing an event on the right date is an important factor.
