  1. You might want to check out the article on the PS1's CD player being worth $6,000 dollars because of the quality of sound it outputs. http://www.destructoid.com/playstation-1-t...am--32269.phtml
  2. Actually, Apache is kicking ISS' arse. Let me explain: HTML was not created to dual parallel loading, so since the IIS frame is first in the HTML document it gets that fraction of a second before the Apache server gets the call. That in of it's self doesn't matter as much as since Apache gets the call second it doesn't make it's SQL queries until after IIS does. And on occasion it is STILL loading faster while using HALF the amount of ram. They are also redireting through Alexia, so this may just be a ploy to bump the sites' stats
  3. May I suggest a couple ways: Get an Apple TV and mod it: Costs more but easy Get an original XBOX and mod it: Harder but total cost is about 150 (Used system plus softmod game) Making the XBOX wireless is trivial as well with a Wifi bridge or a powerline networking device either way you get the desired effect.
  4. Just a thought, but has anyone seen what the Folding@Home community has done? I mean the raw amount of CPU cycles that have already gone into this project must have produced SOMETHING by now. I can understand why Seti@Home over years still hasn't produced anything, there just might not be anything living close enough to us to find, but come on! Folding proteins? I don't mean to go against the grain or anything, but has anyone thought about that? I could be wrong and there could be a dozen sites that show what has already been produced or found with this project. Just a thought.
