  1. My cat once cought a adult hare :| It also once cought a huge rat, but that was some years ago, my cat is quite old now, but still catches stuff, but nothing that big, I think my cat is like 13 years (as in orbits about the sun) old.
  2. You can also run Posadis on windows, linux and BSD it's basicly the ultimate in cross plateform DNS server, admitadly it's a bit feature less, but it works. btw, it isn't directly avalable for BSD from it's website, but it's in the ports collection, so what ever ^^
  3. My honest opinion is that your cat would not be as successful hunter as my own pure black cat :D
  4. No idea ^^ As for the DNS server, insted of playing around with win2003 DNS I would use Posadis on a BSD box, but thats upto you.
  5. Not so easy, best option is to seceratly setup a DNS server, and setit up as there only DNS server. I'm sure it would be realy easy to change google.com to that goatse web site <removed explicit link>, then say "Well, obviusly google's been hacked" ^^, if they are the kind of people I think they are, they will run all over the place making compleate idiots of them selfs by claiming that google has been hacked. and then you can seceratly put it back at some point, but of course, you only have ot put it back on your DNS server, no client modifications needed.
  6. Perhaps you should set this thread as there home page.
  7. Perhaps you st up a Bittorrent server, one computer and only one computer that is allowed to use bittorrent, but has a lovly web interface (passworded of course) so any one can add any torrents they want. Just a surgestion if you have the resorces (like a 500Mhz computer) and the time (Easy way: Install window, set up azaruse web interface, beter way: install linux with that bitorrent client i don't remerb the name of and that web interface for it, but of course if linux is running x then you could just use azarues and it's wen interface any way) The bittorent client i couldn't remeber the name of was http://www.torrentflux.com/
  8. You do know that UPnP was invented by Microsoft, and is thus a huge security risk and should be disabled?
  9. If you are going to post a picture of your puppy, i'm going to post a picture of my head C# programmer (i'm don't have a clue about C# :P)
  10. No, i belive they are some kind of rib mutation.
  11. I know what they are, i'v read about them in books!
  12. Please retype that, it's quite hard to read, at least add more punctuation.
  13. You know whats interesting about that? I'm the first truly computer literate person in my entier family. It's strange that I managed to get into computer with a family that didn't get a computer untill 1999 (Twas a package Packard Bell PC from PC World), meaning I'v been using computers for 7 years. Nearly every one else I know that is as good (or better) with computers then me have been around computers all there life, either there familys have had computers for years or a member of there family is a old school computer enginier (back when a memory upgrade ment getting a soldering iron out and putting the chips in with solder).
  14. I could have, but that would have taken away the over all effect (what ever that was).
  15. You guys are going to totaly kill my band width! These are not pictures of me or any one I know. I aquiered these pictues by way of buying a new camera which came with an obviusly second hand SD card (the camera it's self was new), I found these pictures on the card.
  16. Yes, I know the diffrance between RAID 1 and RAID 0 (Wikipedia helped me out on that one), but I want to know how to retrive the data on a non-failed disk where it's counter part has failed.
  17. It will last as long as the magnatism lasts, which is a couple of hundrad years.
  18. Did I say finatialy ipared, i ment penny less. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...&show=stock
  19. So what backup medium/hardware do you surgest for the finantily impared? ^^
  20. Not that any of my hard disks have failed, but I was just wondering what data recovary companies (not software) you lot recommend. As I have said, non of my hard drives have died, but I would like to know where to look for reliable and prefrably cheap data recovary if it does happen. One other thing that has been bugging me recently, I have never set up a RAID array of any type (money != avalale), but thats say I setup a RAID 1 array with two hard disks, and one of them failed. How would I go about making sure the data on the second one is safe, and then implimenting a replacment for the broken one while keeping all data and then setting up the RAID 1 array again?
  21. But do they know what a browser tab is? ^^
