i have used mandrake and ubuntu in the past (still have a ubuntu partition. but i need winsows 4 school + i'm a gamer (look @ my bottom sig :D) i play CS etc (am clan leader actually) and those dont run under linux and i cant get em to run thru wine ...

i have absolutely no clue , i check all my stuff when i dload it , use ff since it came out , (and all the adblock plugins) , have only 2ce use a p2p client (to find a song i couldn't find o the net) and removed it emedialtelly . now all i use r a few wrez sites and bittorrent. wich in both cases r checked b4 u dload and i check em b4 i install , open em. ,... o i not only advice peerguardian cos it detects spyware but also all the other ips listening to ur pc , including lists of government related ips wich it detects etc (verry handy)

ok , now both spybot s&d and ad aware have each found +/- 16 peaces of spyware or other crap and my av found one harmless old trojan wich i once put on myself (dont ask , early coding attempt :roll: ) now peerguardian didnt catch anymore outging connections , but i'll have to w8 till tomorrow , to be certain , ..... thnx for now , .... if anyone has some more tips , go ahead and post em , i might still need em , .... *edit* scratch that , i lost the previous but now there's a new one trying to get a connection ...

since today my ff isn't working like it shud anymore. it wont start with a shortcut (well actually it is running if u look @the task manager but u dont see it) then after killing the one opened with the shortcut , it does work when u run it prom the install folder. next problem. when attempting to dload anything (dont matter wot even if its just a pic) the built in dload manager (u know that window that appears showing the progress) doesn't appear and ff crashes. i tryed a reinstall but still the same problem. and i dont wanna reformat :( if it matters its the latest version. anyone a idea wots the prob ,how to fix ? thnx in advance , DLSS

(anyone know a dos command 4 this ? ) don't inform admins EVER. :x don't like em most of em abuse they're power. me and a few m8's in class used to play around and talk with winchat . most ppl don't know this im network type proggy wich is built in to all windows since 95 if i remember correctly. u can chat to everyone on the network with it. just go run> winchat.exe (can also be runt throuh a batch file. after a year i informed the admin bout it and he locked it :( . now trying to get a teacher account and then turn it in to admin . good idea ! its 4 the good of all everyone benefits of it and the school has enough bandwith . :P
