Thank you for the link. I felt comfortable looking at user-posted builds that were compatible, and noticed that the link that I posted seemed to be a good candidate for my build. The processor would be fine, the NIC I can replace, but I do not know if the Motherboard is compatible.
Yes, thank you for the link. That is the original website I was at when I discovered the link I originally posted. All of the specs listed by the user are identical to mine, except for the Motherboard (his being a Narra2-GL8E while mine is a Nettle2-GL8E. There were issues the user posted with the ethernet adapter, but I have plenty of spare NICs that are ESXi compatible and compliant with my motherboard, so that is not a problem.
So I am still wondering if my build's Motherboard would be compatible? I apologize if I seem ignorant, but would this make a difference? What issues would it raise? (here is the original build I compared with: http://www.vm-help.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1228&p=3383#p3383 and you will notice it is nearly identical to my posted specs).
Thank you again :)
