hmm for ur specs i suggest using DSL, its lightweight has a full install and runs great of low than good systems. it pretty much matches ur Specs. i dont suggest it in the way of a great OS that has all the best featuresm but its great for newcomers to linux, has all the 'standard' package installs, and supports most linux programs, also comes with a nice driver collection so will work on most machiens. link: http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/

yay only 1 more year then ^_^. hmm back on subject; you can try out KRyLack Password Recovery, it uses BF, and dic, but its Dic is weak, only 2kb :S so use the site provided by Vako, though the BF function works well (slowly as any BF). i found this on a Linux Live, ill look into diggin it up, though i know there is also a windows distribution out there. go go google~!

hmm, if ur using Nero, any were up from 6 im thinking, u can burn movies onto DVD's as DVD, its a slower encoder than most, but most ppl have it, umm yeah there are a few out there but most a non freeware.

i agree with debianuser, i found with suse, GCC isnt in the standard install, though this i found was for suse 8, (was the default OS for novell, and coundlt be stuffed changing my novell configs over to the newer versions / updates). I cant fully say for sure, but im pretty sure that at GCC inst in the new suse's either (rumors is that its not inculded coz suse not developer friendly). Head over to http://gcc.gnu.org/ and download the latest copy and install i supos would be the best thing to do. Or check ur Distro Disk. Best of luck ^_^ Edit: Googled and confirmed, Suse dont supply GCC in there default install packages, and pretty much says

lol if the switch doesnt work u can always jummper Pin, jack the PC (using a jummper over were the switch connects to then removing it quickly will start the pc, and ur it off [sometimes]), though what every one has said is true, it doesnt matter what way it is connected, all it is, is a gate, pressing the button completes the wire. As for the leds, connecting them the wrong way wont blow them, as long as its not for an extensive amount of time, connecting them into a fan connection on the other hand, has fun side effects :S

Okay so my C++ skills have never been my high point, well actualy its my C skills never did anythink that involved the use of C++... So now that im on hollidays ive got a few weeks to my self, so was gonna try out a few C/C++ tuts see if i cant improve a little. Now for the question, whats ur C/C++ worstation setup? in the way of editor and compiler (i say workstation coz not every one uses a standard package). I ask this coz ive only used "Bloodshed Dev-C++", and "MS Visual C++" and have found that Bloodshed is very limiting in it compiling, in the way of most of the tutorials i read though dont work on it, but will on MS :S, so any one know of a friendly setup? perferably free :D though doesnt matter.

-_-U U will need: Photoshop Flash A brain Time What to do: goto: http://www.newtutorials.com/matrix-effect-tutorial.htm make a huge arse one of them like i mean the same width as ur flash project but huge lengh, this is so that u can make it scroll. Once finished cut a section of the top, and stick it down the botton, (would be tons better if i had photoshop at work so i can show u), u do this so that if u were to print the file and then make a cylinder with the paper, both the ends would join and make a continuless loop. Next open flash, make a new file, say the width of ur PS, but only 1/10 of the hight, place the PS image into Flash, and set it to scroll downwards, once it gets to the bottom to then loop. (im sorry ill need to adjust this laster tonght when im home with a copy of PS, and flash, and the action script needed to do the looping)
