more specific, are u gonna check ur mail via wireless or smart Tech? do u want to be able to use deceint applications or use palm? do u want to spend money? do u want it to run on Linux? do u want it to shit over every one elses? so heres comes my suggestion, im using a cheap lowend HP iPaq, has wirless 600mhz CPU, 256Ram, and a 3GB SD card, running Windows Mobile 5. it doesnt have Bluetooth, though now has an adaption, doesnt support smart, but has the connection for my mobile. dosnt have a cam, doesnt need one. I pretty much use it for emails and RSS feeds in the morning, and torrenting over night on hot days, all up with the attatchments, Sony Phone Connect, Blue Ant Smart Phone Blue tooth dongel, and my HP iPaq Keyboard. all cost me ruffly $250, so its gonna be cheaper in US.

i know this sounds stupid but have u tried assigning the HDD to a new Drive letter, this has happened to my, i moved a HDD from a machine that the CPU died in, and the new machien found it as a RHDD but could not read it coz it still wanted to be C: just in case. Steps to change Drive Letters: 1. Right Click 'My Computer', and goto 'Manage' 2. On left panel goto 'Disk Managment' 3. Find the Disk, right click on it and goto 'Chnage Drive Letter and Paths' 4. Click Change 5. Set unused Drive Letter.

it can take upto 24h's depending on the Mother Board, unless u short the board to drain power (never recomended). hmm i suggest a firewall, somethink on the lines of Zone Alarm or Kaspersky this way u can make sure that ur passwords when running the recoveries arnt accessing the internet and sending it off, or if its just a plane MD5, no salt, then get ahold of either a Rainbow Table, or a BF / Dictonary and go at it, if u really wanna be on the safe side. Also i dont see anythink wrong with the OP either, ive often lost my passwords, lucky enough with HL2 i printed of my steam account and keep it in the HL2 box ^_^

hehe yeah true moonlit, i was only looking at it becuase of the 5v. though looking over it, it seems that its not needed only t place voltage across the circuit, will trigger the lock to release. Also by using the powerbolt 1000, it will give u the option of a code overide.

Uppon removel of the flash drive, a timer starts, once times up, ports close, causing circuit to break, resualting in dead lock snaping back into place.
