  1. Thank you very much. Just browse over to your site, very nice and informative. Have bookmark them =)
  2. My guess is most probably they did not set the region correctly or they just use the wifi out of the box with default value - EUROPE, JAPAN, US, etc. One last question - Why do it sometimes detect a hidden AP with a '-1' channel? Thank you =)
  3. Yes, i have the WEP key as it is my own wireless network. So how do i get Kismet to show the IP address? I could not find this info anywhere on the net. *I will look into the second option - decrypt pcap file and using wireshark to read the IPs. *I just start reading Hacking Kismet, but not sure if it will cover this. Thank you,
  4. Thank you. I read this Private IP range on some website before, guess i will need to memorize them =)
  5. Hi! Thank you for the reply and the link =) Hope you don't mind as i got new question relate to this channel: 1) I did not see Channel 31,32 and 33 in the Wikipedia list, is it the same with 131, 132, 133? 2) Today when i test on my friend's office, i can see 131, 132. Does this mean they have set their AP wrongly(as we are in Asia)? Thank you,
  6. Hi! I have search hi and low for info on howto use Kismet to find out the AP's IP range but to no avail. I think you guys here could help shed some light for me. I am starting to learn BT4 and have successfully pass WEP/WPA and going for more advance challenge like getting pass a network without a DHCP enabled. My Kismet is running and showing too many info from all the AP it detects, how could i filter all the info and make it show only the IP address of the AP i want? Thank you,
  7. Hi! I am new to BT4 and have learn howto break a WEP/WPA with no problem. And now trying with more advance setup like MAC filtering, etc. One thing i can't seems to crack is AP with its DHCP disabled. I have search the web and found out that Kismet could pickup the IP range. But i could not get it to work. I fire up Kismet and it will pickup all the AP it detects include my test AP. Kismet did picks up IPs(flashing on the bottom part), but how do i process the data and find the data i need?? Thank you in advance B)
  8. Hi! I have just started to learn this Airodump in BT4. I can't figure out why it will show some of the hidden AP(with length: 0>) channel's as 32,33,34, etc? As far i know, there are only channel 1 to 13. I also tried hiding my own AP but it will show its correct length and channel. Have anyone encounter this before? Thank you,
